Hi friends!!

We're excited to announce the launch of Storyteller in Residence 2017: “Food With Philosophy”.

In the spirit of this year’s theme, we focus on the simple rituals that bring people together, the local tastes that define a culture, and the re-imagining of how food even ends up on our plates.

The program details are right here. I’ve also included them below this message: http://www.storytellerinresidence.com

If you know a food storyteller who’d be perfect for this program, I’d really appreciate it if you’d share this with them!

Storyteller in Residence: WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

When we first dreamt up the concept of Storyteller in Residence, we had no idea what kind of response we’d get. For example, let me share one comment that caught my eye...

"Our world is in desperate need of creative, innovative people. That was always the case, yet today, as each new day brings challenges which can't be tackled using standard solutions, it's becoming more important than ever. That's why we need people with ideas, passion, spirit and staying power. And we need them everywhere, in all positions, professions and age groups."

We received your amazing proposals — from writers, journalists, photographers, filmmakers, activists and podcasters around the globe.

On behalf of all of us at the Cayuga Collection and Coffee Abroad, thank you for joining the movement toward travel done differently.

Now without further ado, we are pleased to announce the 2016 Storytellers in Residence:

— Elizabeth Yuko
— Keala Evans

Thank you all again for believing in this program!

The world has come a long way since the days when ecolodges were oddities and when “sustainable” used with the word “hotel” was lipstick on a very rustic pig. These days, of course, some of our favorite luxury stays are ecolodges, and “eco-chic” is no longer a buzzword—it’s an expectation. But fo...

Today we wanted to share something with you that we're really excited about—

First, some background.

Three years ago, we decided we wanted to travel more often. Then two year ago, we decided we wanted to travel more responsibly —

That's how we found a unique collection of hotels and ecolodges in Costa Rica that approached travel in a completely different way.

We took a chance, emailed the owner, and shared our enthusiasm for their work. We had no idea that this one email would change the course of our creative careers!

Today, we feel really fortunate.

We're excited to share that we've created a new program called Storyteller in Residence. Together with our dear friends, the Cayuga Collection , we want to see other Digital Creators do their best creative work in the most incredible places on the planet, and contribute to the conversation on sustainable travel.

If you feel inspired to do so, check out the program, leave a comment, or share this post with your travel-loving friends. XOXO, Mike & Kimberly
