If you’re like me, you have to occasionally work while on vacation - it’s just part of the job for some folks. I wanted to call out my top five favorite places to work remotely at Walt Disney World, whether it is to take a conference call or catch up on work email.

#5 - the most obvious: your hotel room. The downside here is that there are often other family members around who make it tough to get things done, or you need to work before you check in or after checkout on the last day.

#4 - any empty nook above the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. The Lodge has numerous small areas with comfortable seating and fireplaces that are generally quiet, relaxing and away from the crowd. The view overlooking the lobby is spectacular. Great to catch up on email or have a virtual meeting (or just people watch!).

#3 - Magic Kingdom - Aunt Polly’s Landing on Tom Sawyer Island. Lots of shaded seating and a really remote feel, only broken up by the occasional steam whistle from the Liberty Belle. It’s another great location to set up for a call, just keep your finger on the mute button!

#2 - Epcot: Journey Info Imagination Plaza near the corner past the upside down waterfall and the jumping water. It’s a great space where the music is muted, and nice to enjoy the weather while on Teams or Zoom. Plus, you get the watch the monorail glide by regularly!

#1 - the 2nd floor conference area at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If there’s nothing happening in the Ballroom of the Americas, it’s the perfect remote office: cool, quiet, close to restrooms, restaurants and coffee, great WiFi and a quick monorail ride back to the Magic
Kingdom when you’re finished.

41 years old this week and always in a state of becoming, EPCOT remains my favorite park at Walt Disney World because it’s at the heart of what Walt really wanted to do in Florida - build community. Even though the city envisioned originally back in the 60’s hasn’t exactly come to be, this permanent World’s Fair showcases innovations, new ideas and people from all over the world. Let me help you experience the best EPCOT has to offer - travel quotes never cost a thing, and neither does my trip planning help when you book a room & ticket package!

You’re going to Disney World!

So you want to go to Walt Disney World, and don’t know where to begin. That’s ok! I will plan every aspect of your Disney Destination vacation with you, ensuring you get to see and experience everything you want to see, present options within your budget, and maybe even help you make a little magic for your own family along the way! The best part- when you book your vacation package through me and Key To The World Travel, it’s FREE for you - that’s right, I am here to guide you along the way and it won’t cost you a thing. Let’s talk Disney today!

Taking your family to Walt Disney World results in memories that last a lifetime. My first trip was in 1984 when Gramps took the whole family down for a spring break getaway, and from then I was hooked! Granted, back then there were two parks, a couple of resort hotels and golf courses. It was a much simpler time, when you could throw the family in the wood-paneled station wagon and just head on down to Florida.

Today, Walt Disney World is one of the highest attended attractions on the planet, with tens of millions of visitors from all over the world, four theme parks, two water parks, dozens of resort hotels, and so much more. Planning a trip can be overwhelming, especially for first-time visitors, and expert advice is just whats needed to ensure a fantastic time.
