To those living in Statesville, Mooresville, Davidson and the I77 corridor of CLT area: The Statesville Regional Airport is coordinating with volunteer pilots etc to deliver loads of supplies to the various areas of the High Country. They are in need of the following items:
charcoal, gas, propane, lighters, solar powered charging ports, generators, flashlights, batteries, insulin supplies, oxygen tanks and HME ventilator filters, water, nonperishable foods, hygiene products, shower washcloths (like the hospital ones that already have soap on them), diapers of all sizes, baby wipes, non-script medicine and first aid items. They can also use some help with helping to pay for fuel, just call the airport and they will take your cash towards a plane fuel donation. For all other items you can just drop off. Thank you!
