Chestnuts wrapped in lard 🇮🇹🏔

In a recent trip to the Italian Alps, this was a dish that really stood out and was like nothing I’ve ever had before. The lard had a beautiful cured flavour which seasoned the chestnut… yum!

The Chubby Fellow arrived back on London soil from Paris last week in one piece… a miracle considering the dangerous amounts of vin et fromage consumed. 🍷 🧀

A beautiful city with a passion for food. I particularly loved how many independent restaurants and cafes there were. Vive la résistance! 🇫🇷
