The scoop on the new Disney Lightning Lane Multipass system ⬇️⬇️
First, we think it’s less complicated than Genie Plus lightning lane. And of course getting started on those favorite attraction picks BEFORE you arrive is the bomb, but it does require advance planning.
Here we go…
⭐️ 7 days to prior to Disney resort check in, you can choose your first 3 lightning lane attractions through your My Disney Experience app (all in one park). If you are staying off property, your window opens at 3 days before your first park day.(Note that you’ll be charged to the form of payment in your app).
⭐️ So you’re there at your first selected attraction, once you’ve scanned in, you can select another attraction through your app. Note that more times are available than are shown, so click on the what you’d like and then more times will be offered. You can now these across the parks if you have a hopper😊
⭐️ Note that it does work for most special ticketed park events, like the Halloween party.

Sometimes it’s good to revisit Disney hotels that were favorites in the past. So this trip we are at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. Last night we came in hungry, so we stopped at the River Roost lounge for appetizers and a beverage.
We found a fun relaxed atmosphere with a waiter who loved to joke and have fun!
Becca and I ordered the smoked sweet and spicy chicken wings with Cajun fries for our appetizer.
I say “yum, yum!” These were some of the best chicken wings and drummets I have had! The Cajun fries were on point too (and I do consider myself a connoisseur of fries😂). I give that appetizer a solid 9😊😊.
My girl Becca ate every one of her wings and fries (and made a happy plate). She rates it a solid 10. So if you’re at Port Orleans Riverside and looking for a heavy snack, but are trying to avoid the food court, check out the River Roost Lounge. Yum!Yum!

OOPS. Took a wrong turn when I left work and ended up in Disneyworld 🤪🤣🙌🏼

Seriously, Juju and I are here for a quick trip to get a feel for the updated lightning lane / fast pass system ✈️

While we’re here we thought we’d review the places we are eating / sharing most of our meals! Our first stop tonight was Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. This one is located in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. It’s been a fan favorite in the past, but has gotten some heat for their recent menu changes.

Since I have a food allergy, we can’t order just anything off the menu. We thought we’d play it safe with the Nacho Bowl. It has house fried corn tortilla chips, pinto beans, queso, pico de gallo, and a protein of choice. You can choose between steak, chicken, and pork. We went with the pork 🍴

I was a little underwhelmed, and I’m pretty easily pleased when it comes to a good queso and chicken nacho basket. It was very warm, served promptly, but I felt like there wasn’t a ton of pork / protein in it. I happened to be starving bc I hadn’t eaten anything since I clocked out this morning 🤣🤣🤣 so it did what I needed.

Judy thought the beans and chips had good flavor, but all in all, they were a little too soupy for her liking. She was also pretty hungry 🤪

Spent 5 nights at this beautiful boutique hotel on Eagle Beach in Aruba. Words cannot describe the beauty of this island with its shimmery blue water and huge white beaches to its kind friendly people who live here.
This is a small quiet property but the live music and special dinner offerings as well as yoga and stretch classes and the optional all inclusive gave us plenty to do. A charter fishing excursion off property kept the guys entertained especially with the huge Barracuda they both caught!
