Anyone traveling to the Branson/Big Cedar/The Cliffs area….. right off Hwy 65 is this darling farm! Worth the stop, super pretty drive, right next to the Bear Creek Winery & Brewery, and I personally know the owners- perfect small business to enjoy and support!

Bear Creek Winery + Brewery

New to the Branson/Ozark scene, this is a MUST STOP!
•
Best wine tasting views in the Ozarks (not to mention in the cutest miniature mason jars 🤩). My takeaway from this winery- no shortcuts were taken. Everything was very well done, they keep a schedule of live music on their social medias, there was an amazing full menu as well as great drink options. Cute little gift shop area with boutique finds and some local goodies.

We left with the sweet red, Cobbler but a close second was their signature ChestnutRidge 🍷

Perfect for us stopping in our way in to Big Cedar Lodge but planning a time to sit down and enjoy their venue longer 🤩

Hook & Ladder delivers to Big Cedar!! Honestly- I can’t believe I didn’t know this 😱 We go to Big Cedar multiple times a year and this would’ve been a lifesaver for us! Soooo thankful to be in the know now! 😉

Hook & Ladder pizza in Hollister, Mo was so good and a very reasonable price point. We were able to feed our family of 5 with leftovers- with 2 mediums! We ordered a cheese pizza and a chicken bacon ranch. Both so good! So much more I want to try!

My favorite way to arrive to the resort- call and order my pizza ahead of time, swing by (last exit before Big Cedar/The Cliffs/Paradise Point) and just grab it and go! Then have warm dinner ready for everyone as soon as you checkin!
(Or depending on location- we’ve also gone straight to the lakefronts for a pizza picnic before unloading!)

Anyone else get to resorts and forget to check out local flavors around?!!! That can sometimes be us!! At just over a 10 min drive from Big Cedar (even closer if staying at The Falls in Branson) we were so glad we hopped in the car to try this new-to-us gem!!
•
Known for their layered donuts— small batches made everyday! We tried the Cookies & Creme & Seasonal Celebration layered doughnuts, and an order of the breakfast tacos 💯 We also tried a cup of the fresh brew coffee and I had an iced cinnamon latte (per the owners recommendation) and both were phenomenal! The atmosphere was on point, cutest aesthetic to sit and enjoy the food with plenty of seating! They also offer custom to-go boxes for anyone picking up breakfast to take back to the resort!

The Cliffs resort in Branson is a great option with @bluegreenvacations • This resort is centered around the lake! Every condo has incredible balcony views of the lake, the pools have great views and access to the lake is just down the way. The options for the pool cabanas also makes this lame resort have an upscale feel.
