‼️FOOD TRUCK UPDATE‼️

We would like to start this post by giving a big shout out and thank you to the city. They have agreed to allow us to have food trucks on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays in the interim as we prepare for the Commission meeting on Thursday, October 10th and coming to a resolution.

We are very excited to announce that we’ll have Loagies on site for you this evening making fresh to order their delicious mouth watering burgers, sandwiches, and so much more. We look forward to having food trucks for you on site this weekend as well. Details to come!

Lastly, if you enjoy having food trucks available to you at the brewery, we need your support. We need as many people as possible to be present for the City Commission meeting on Thursday, October 10th starting at 6:30 pm. We are on the agenda and will be discussing and hopefully coming to a resolution in regards to having food trucks on our premises. Please mark your calendars and be there so your voice can be heard‼️‼️‼️

Thank you so much for your patience and support as we work towards a resolution. Doors open at 4 pm today. Come on by for a tasty brew and some delicious eats. Cheers friends!

We put out the call to hold a Hurricane Relief Event and you answered!!!

So many have come forward wanting to be a part of this event and we say thank you!!

Performing live throughout the day with all proceeds going to relief are Tom Hogan, Flying Turtles String Band, and The Peyton Brothers!

We’ve got Mexi Cocina here from 12-4 donating a portion of their proceeds to the effort as well as Humble Wood Fire here from 4-10 pm.

We’ll be airing the Gator game live on all of our T.V.’s and huge projector screen.

We’ve got a new Saison on tap along with our porter, red ryed IPA, kolsch, and guest taps. For our non-alcoholic options, enjoy a nod to the islands with a Goombay punch (minus the rum) 😉, coconut lime and cucumber melon sodas!

Doors open noon til midnight. All money donated and raised will be given to Winners Circle Charities who are directly associated with Old Bahama Bay and the only 501c3 approved in the relief effort for that part of Abaco. All physical supplies will be taken over personally by us.

Come on out and be a part of this incredible event. See you soon! 🇧🇸❤️

Y'all. We cannot enjoy High Springs if we do not take care of High Springs. I am always depressed by the amount of dumping along the old railroad tracks where I ride my bike, but what I saw today INFURIATED me (especially because if whoever had dumped all those drawers had dumped the dresser frame with them, I could have used them). If you have High Springs utilities, THEY WILL PICK YOUR LARGE ITEMS UP FOR FREE on the first and third Fridays of every month; you just have to make an appointment. There is NO EXCUSE for this. And usable items like dressers, wheelchairs, and grills? Donate them to a charity or put them on the side of the road with a sign that says "free" if you can't sell them on FB marketplace. The old railroad bed is my favorite place in High Springs and I love riding my bike there. I hate to see people treating it like this, especially when there is a free and easy solution to this problem.

If you want the High Springs to Newberry Rail Trail to happen, PLEASE email [email protected] TODAY (3/12) as early as possible before the county commission meeting.

URGENT! The High Springs-Newberry Trail is in real danger of not happening. Negotiations over the contract have broken down and staff is recommending canceling the agreement to purchase the corridor. The county commission needs to hear from you TODAY in support of this fantastic project. Please email the commissioners at [email protected] and/or attend the commission meeting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 12th) morning.

Trails are economic development. High Spring's major industry is our great outdoors and becoming a Trail Town will fit perfectly with ecotourism. The western part of the county has fewer parks and lacks the recreation opportunities that the central and eastern part of the county has. This trail will be short trip bike/ped generator in and near High Springs and will soon be a backbone of multimodal transportation as subdivisions are built along the trail.

Please let the commission know that this trail has a lot of community support!
