WOOHOO! I'm officially a Certified Sandals Specialist!
I'm so glad I did this training; I've learned that when Sandals calls itself all-inclusive, they really mean it! 5-star dining in sit-down restaurants (no buffets!), premium liquors, entertainment, activities..... its ALL included!

If you have the time to go further afield in the United Kingdom, I HIGHLY recommend Cornwall! Particularly the English Heritage Site, Tintagel! The Legendary Birthplace of King Arthur himself!
Situated on a stunning cliff face, the ruins of this ancient palace are as incredible as the view and if you hike to the top, you'll see the King himself. This stunning sculpture titled "Gallos", the Cornish word for power, by Welsh sculptor Rubin Eynon is larger than life and a bit ghostlike, creating an absolutely breathtaking reward for climbing the cliff! I snapped this photo a few years ago when we went and it's still a favorite!

King’s Cross Station, London- I’m heading back home!
Don’t be intimidated by public transport in the UK! Use apple maps or google maps and it will direct you to the stations or bus stops you need. Most of them use contactless payment on your phone or you can get an oyster card in pretty much any station in London. Signage in stations make it quick and easy to find your way- I make my nine year old navigate sometimes and we haven’t gotten lost yet!

Living so close to London means I occasionally get to go down there for mundane things- like a sleep study tonight. 🤣 however, I did get to visit my favourite sleuth on my walk to Harley Street from Baker Street Underground!

As an American Military Spouse, I have been so unbelievably lucky to have six years to explore England! One of the best experiences we have had as a family was the Stonehenge Inner Circle tour. Inner Circle tours are only available outside of normal operating hours with a limited number of tickets available. The best part? They alway occur at sunrise or sunset! You have a full hour to stand inside the stones! Let me tell you, watching my kids play tag among the ancient stones was as surreal as it was incredible. Why not add an inner circle tour to your England vacation?! Trust me; it is WORTH it!
