This is MUCH earlier than in the past. While you don’t necessarily need to stress about booking ASAP - you might actually want to consider it if you already know there is a specific room type/resort you want. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen things be unavailable for clients during popular dates if we wait too long to look.
