Carnival Cruise Line’s third Excel-class mega-ship, Carnival Jubilee has made its float out and emerged from the construction hall at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, on July 21, 2023.

What truly stole the show was its striking bow, adorned with an iconic Texas star, symbolizing the ship’s connection to its homeport in the Lone Star State of Texas.

Carnival’s newest ship is part of its groundbreaking Excel-class and will offer stunning features already wowing guests aboard her sisters Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration, including the next iteration of the first roller coaster at sea, BOLT: The Ultimate Seacoaster. Six fun-filled zones, two of which are completely unique to the ship and imaginatively themed to celebrate the ocean, offer extensive dining, beverage and entertainment options.

What’s Next for Carnival Jubilee?
The Carnival Jubilee’s journey has been closely watched by cruise fans, eagerly awaiting news of its progress. Now, with the float-out behind it, the ship gears up for its next phase of construction, where it will undergo meticulous interior outfitting to prepare for its inaugural voyage. Its sea trials are scheduled for November 2023.

Families can step into the colorful world of DreamWorks Animation in an immersive and interactive new land – Coming to Universal Studios Florida in 2024.

Next year, Universal Orlando Resort will debut an all-new themed land featuring DreamWorks Animations’ beloved collection of animated characters.
As guests step into this new land, their imaginations will run wild as they take in the vibrant colors, sights and sounds that surround them. They will share special moments with their favorite characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and explore themed, interactive play spaces and attractions that bring popular stories like Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda to life in the most imaginatively fun ways.
