Only a 20 minutes drive too Morfa Nefyn. With a National trust car park. Then a lovely walk along the beach to Porth Dinlean.

As far as picturesque pubs go, you won’t find much better than this 🍻😍 Tucked away in a cove on the coast of Wales is a tiny, “magical” red-brick pub perched on a white sandy beach. Boasting views across the sea and stunning mountain ranges, the Ty Coch Inn in Porthdinllaen only be accessed by walking across the beach or a scenic footpath - making it one of the most remote pubs in the UK. It’s been described as “glorious”, “cosy”, and “one of the best inns on any beach in the world” - and is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by with a cold pint 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

🏖 BEACH OF THE WEEK 🏖 Porthdinllaen Beach

The beach at the old fishing village Porthdinllaen is a spectacular spot to enjoy a day on the coast! It has magnificent views ⛰ sheltered waters 🌊 fine sandy beaches 🏖interesting rock pools 🦀 and a chance to watch the comings and goings of local fishermen ⚓️

Home to the famous pub right on the beach, you don’t even have to leave the beach to get your lunch or beverage 🍻🥪 how good is that?

There are public toilets here too 🚻

Park at the national trust car park in Morfa Nefyn and walk along the beach (if tide not too high) or via the golf course to get to it. There’s also parking up towards the golf course ⛳️ or you can cycle directly to the beach via the golf course road 🚲

The sheltered bay is ideal for boating ⛵️kayaking and paddleboarding 🛶swimming 🏊‍♀️ and snorkelling and there’s an abundance of marine wildlife to spot whilst you’re at it 🐠🐟🦭

It’s another great spot to explore by paddleboard. You can arrange to hire a paddleboard here for the day and we’ll deliver it to you with everything you need to get on the water, or you can arrange a paddleboard lesson/tour/experience if you want some guidance 🚐🛶😎

It’s also a great place to explore by bicycle from. We offer 1.5hour guided e-bike tours from on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10am for £25 per person that you can easily book onto on our website 🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️ or you can hire for the day or arrange a bespoke tour…so many options!

We have childrens seats (up to 22kg) and buoyancy aids to add to your hire 👧👦 and even a doggy bike basket 🐶 (up to 8kg)
