Watched him catch a mouse a few minutes before, without camera of course. It must not have made a full meal, because he kept hunting for awhile.

We put a cellular trail cam up at a remote water hole just a few miles from the house (as the crow flies), during the early part of the elk rut and left it through the late rifle season. It proved to be quite a popular hangout for many different animal species. Here's a montage of some of the animals who visited the water hole during that time period.

We watched the fox pounce and then run off with his lunch.

Every Season is Beautiful

Summer 2020 we will open Deer Creek Valley View. Every season is unique and beautiful. Pet Friendly.

1700 sq ft of living space with private entrance, three bedrooms, kitchen and living-room. Sleeps 8-10. (Queen size air mattress available and baby pack n play).

Living-room has large sectional sofa (that will also sleep two adults), two chairs, fireplace and a beautiful view. Great space for family entertainment: movies, games, or just relaxing after a day of adventure.

Master-suite with Queen size bed, private bathroom with deep tub,and enclosed shower.
