Out With the Old

Little Bay, Rockport Texas. It's over 2023, time for a new sheriff. The last sunrise of 2023 was a beauty. As I was wrapping up some drone flights over and around Rockport Harbor, decided to head to Fulton Harbor. Driving past Little Bay and man, the water was like glass. Stopped, pulled over, changed batteries and up she went. Highly unusual for the bay to be like a mirror, but here we have it.

Thought it would be appropriate to have Steve Russell's new sculpture "Cultural Interface" usher in this year. More acceptance of others is always a good new year's resolution.....

1. $100 entry, you provide your own crawfish
2. $650 entry, the event provides unlimited crawfish.

Well, the date is set! Headliner Booked, Crawfish Ordered and teams are getting ready. This year to celebrate out 5th anniversary, we are going BIG. We have great entertainment in store for you. Our location will be announced soon, just need to get through the red tape. This will be one for the record books. Tickets and tables will go on sale soon. Bay Haven owner John has been at the house working on the upstairs deck railing and had the company of these black drum eat near the bulkhead each day.
He suggests to our guests to get fresh dead shrimp and toss them on the bottom on the left side of the pier and from the rocks.
Take care for the cast net in the rocks.
He has seen 3-4 nice sized, still good for eating, fish!! 🎣Recommending a 5/0 kale or circle hook with dead shrimp for these scavenging fish!! Good luck this week!
