📖 A story that makes it unique & special.

🏜 The property you see in the photos boasts a rich history of 120 years as part of the Centro Historico catalog of Oaxaca de Juarez. HOLT has transformed this former hacienda into six unique suites, each designed to reflect the former inhabitants' spirit and the city's charm.

⭐️ Ioana Holt, co-founder, COO, and Head of Design for HOLT, served as the sole designer and general contractor for the project. The property, which opened its doors to guests on March 15, is dedicated to the memory of Margarita Figueroa, the grandmother of the house 👵🏼

The property is a tribute to her life, her spirit, and her memories. In her artist statement, Mrs. Holt describes her inspiration for her design to bring the property to life as "the fashionista grandma, never caught with a hair out of place. She's so chic and cool, she's bold, she's lived enough to learn to embrace all she loves, and all those things fit together because of her. "She continues, "Each corner is a postcard to a decade of her life...There is joy and playfulness and comfort in each room. There is also awe and excitement." 💫

★ HOLT ownership once spied an intriguing prospect in Bucharest: a condominium for sale and one unit for rent, in what was once the home of Corneliu Coposu, one of the “founders” of modern-day Romania.

★ As a result, two gorgeous and timeless rental units are available for travelers now. HOLT kept the classic feel of the building interior during renovations and fully restored this Historic Landmark building.
