Ever heard of Schoolhouse Falls?
It's 15 miles of dirt road from Jerusalem. Well worth the time. The place DOES Not have any signs pointing the way... So I recommend you watch the YouTube video of the drive, because GPS wont get you there.

This is the old court house on the town square. Notice the "Ol' Hotel" also on the square. Even though Pocahontas isn't a small town per say (they have a walmart)... It has lots of history and heritage. I recommend a day trip to check it out.

This IS DEFINITELY the smallest town I've ever seen with a Courthouse. And it's in the perfect riverside setting.

I'm so excited to be here. I can't even add up all the time I've sat and listened to old Johnny Cash records. This place is so far off the beaten path that people from the "sticks" say this is out in the country!!! .. And the residents were given 40 acres and a mule, if chosen!!!

Check this out,
I was sorta near Mountain View today. All of a sudden in the middle of these hills, I saw this pretty little meadow on a ridge. The view was phenomenal. I could see for miles.

By the way, the cows found it first !!😊

I've eaten here since I was very small. Today did not disappoint. Homemade sourdough white and wheat bread. I had the "3 meat" on white with their smoked cheddar. Glass bottles of Dr. Pepper and homemade cinnamon rolls to boot.
