If you think of impressive architecture probably comes to mind. It's said that it
didn't get bombed in WW2 because the germans thought it was to beautiful. This is why
you can still see buildings that have been built in the middle ages. It's honestly mind
boggling. Food and culture is great aswell, I recommend trying Klobasa (it's smoked
sausage flavoured with garlic and spices, incredible!). The street food is also great.
There are alot of tourist traps around, more than I was used to. Watch out when you
exchange money! I definitely want to check out other places in the Czech Republic.

We walked around the main streets of the city, visited the and of course didn't forget about the .
You can eat a traditional or . But if you're looking for a big meal, you'll find cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes.

What a place to visit. I’ve never been to a country before and I was very curious about how they live. Along never ending beaches and unbelievably good street food we met , a Taxi driver from . He agreed to be our local guide for almost 2 weeks and showed us so many different places.
Starting in Bangkok we traveled south to , stayed in jungle hotels, visiting old temples and climbing religious mountains. Never once we had an unfriendly Thai even though most of them live a poor life, all of them were kind and helpful.
Aside from hotel breakfast, we ate almost only street food or in small restaurants along the street. Thailand has always had a sunny place in my heart for more than 15 years. Really. Just go there.

is a really special city. This four skyscraper are the main business offices in Madrid.
The bear with the tree represents Madrid's flag, it's in the Puerta del Sol, which is really famous in New year's eve at midnight the last 12 seconds of the year eat 12 grapes.
We also went to the Prado Museum, it's really big and is free of entry. There is one park called Parque del Retiro where people go there for a walk, there is also a little lake in this park where a lot of couples rent a boat and spent the evening.

A stroll down Marienplatz is perfect for checking out the clock at the New Town Hall.
When you get hungry try the classic German schnitzel and (a swirl bun).

is known as the biggest village in germany. It's a primarly a spa and wellness
location, but a secret location for you to check out is the so called 'Koigarten'.
Old Fritz,
some retired wealthy guy, transformed a piece of land into a garden heavily inspired by asian
gardening culture. If I remember correctly, the entrence fee is a pay-whatever-you-want
system. The garden itself is fairly big and beautifully kept. And there are even (as the names
suggests) real japanese koi fish swimming around in big pools of water.
The restaurant on the premise has some tasty traditional german food aswell. Definetly
recommend checking it out if you ever find yourself in this tucked away corner of east
!

You are looking for a holiday destination for this summer? Italy is also a good idea. Pizza, pasta and vino all day long 🍕🍷
I stayed in Vico Equense, at the gulf of naples and I would recommand this tiny little village if you want to relax after a day exploring this beautiful area. In this part of italy every village looks like it could be on a postcard 😍 you can enjoy best from water when you go on a trip to Capri or Naples. The ancien city of Pompeji is also a must see when you visit this region. As an extra tip I recommand you to take the train to go to Pompeji and go to the Vesus afterwards. There is a public bus that only coasts 3 €, so you have more money left for the great italian food 😋

, is a small city, and the tourist areas can be easily and conveniently explored on foot. If you're going to use buses, trolleybuses, and trams, buy a special map. For a glimpse into Tallinn's past, visit the Estonian Open Air for typical Estonian taverns, watermills, and windmills, or join the crowd in the historic Town Hall Square.

If you want to get a taste of Tallinn, try Mulgikapsas - a stew of pork, barley (or barley), and sauerkraut, or Mulgipuder - porridge made from barley and mashed potatoes; it can also be Kartulipors - meat baked in mashed potatoes.
Or more specific: Suitsukala (smoked trout) and Tallinn sprat (spicy salted sprat).

Krakow, a city in Poland that has been valued for centuries for its cultural heritage, has also become the center of Europe's gastronomic heritage.
Krakow's cultural life is unusually rich. About 100 festivals and other events of international scale take place every year in the center of the Małopolska province. If you manage to do that, you should plan your trip during one of the festivals in advance, you will be 100% satisfied.

P.s. I was amazed at so many restaurants and cafes, and the atmosphere of the old town gave it its own twist.

If I could visit one more place in my life, it would be Mexico. I really fell in love with this fabulous corner of the earth 😍.
Not only does Mexico have endless white beaches, famous Mayan sights, and tequila, but also lots of street art and probably the friendliest people in the world. During the trip, I visited Holbox Island (no cars, great food and nightlife), Valladolid, Mahahual, and the Riviera Maya. Only in Mexico can you find cenotes, collapsed limestone caves filled with fresh water, which I highly recommend for refreshment in a hot climate.

Riga, Latvia's capital and the largest city on the Baltic, is a marvellous blend of Latvian tradition, for which the inhabitants are proud, and influence from countries that have occupied the state at different times.
Open to mass tourism since the arrival of budget flights, Old Town Riga can be explored on foot. There's a great choice of bars and restaurants. The new city is easily accessible by one of the fast and modern buses and trams.

P.s. A personal recommendation is the ice cream. 🍦Its taste really is radically different, in a good way, from what we've tasted in other cities.
Also if you are interested in jewelry, be sure to get an Amber chain or ring💍.

In November 2017 I had a great weekend in , the capital of . The modern yet traditional city has such a long and changing history, which has spawned some of the magical buildings you can see in the photos.
While exploring the city, you can take a break and eat at one of the many restaurants in the vaults or markets with local delicacies such as Trdlník, a traditional pastry from Eastern Europe.

This year it took place from 21 to 28 May. A place for fun and parties is always prepared for the event.

is one of the most beautiful cities in !
Grodno is interesting for its architecture. In one of the pictures you'll see a church made of stone, it was built in the 12th century, it's incredible!!!
This city is interesting because it combines the history and culture of almost all nationalities in Europe. It has long been said that Belarus is the gateway to Europe, and for the European part, the gateway to Russia.
You can stroll through the cultural center of the city and have a bite to eat there too!
Our personal recommendation is Café Jezwa, where you can find delicious coffee ☕️ and fresh bagels 🥯, also you can find their perfect wine 🍷!
You can relax in Gilbert Park, located in the city center!

P.s. It took Liz a long time to figure out how the Belarusians managed to put a tank on a pedestal! And backstage, you can find the Drama Theater!

Last week I visited the Canary Islands for the first time. My trip was to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands and perhaps the most diverse?!
has the volcano Teide in its center and it divides the island into different zones with different vegetation. Look at all the different landscapes you see in the pictures. It's even more beautiful in real life.
Tenerife is great for hiking along the coast or in the mountains.
The are also famous for their good food, which often includes mojo sauce. Every family has its own recipe and it makes a great souvenir to take home to your friends.

A long time ago I went on a road trip through Turkey and visited the cities of Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, and Bolu.
Turkey is incredibly beautiful and all of the cities were in their own way. English is also widely spoken in western Turkey.
A Turkish bath is something everyone must experience once, I really enjoyed my bath.
The best way to get around Turkey is by minibus.
Another tip is to always carry cash, if you go somewhere non-touristy they probably won't accept cards.
I can't wait to come back one day!

is an amazing city. Schönbrunn Palace is huge, with very beautiful gardens and a fun .
We went to the Goldener Hall where the 'Das Neujahrskonzert der Wiener Philharmoniker' took place. We also went to the Opera where the Spanish theatre performance took place.

has some incredible places to visit, I was lucky because Big Ben had just finished being rebuilt.
China Street was amazing, it was like being in another country. There were lots of Chinese restaurants.
The British is very interesting, you can spend many days there because it's so big. The good thing is that it's free, you just have to book a free ticket. The Egyptian collection was incredible. I don't know how they managed to move all that stuff😅.

You thought the countries of Northern Europe were cold and snowy?
A visit to Stockholm in summer will convince you otherwise. I was there in July and that was the best time to discover all the little islands on which the Swedish capital is built. The first picture was taken from the City Hall Tower. Get your ticket with a slot online, take the steps up to 106 meters and enjoy the view over the whole city. After the climb, you really deserve to eat kanelbullar, the delicious Swedish cinnamon rolls. A trip to Sweden also includes a visit to at least one of the many castles. Did you know that Sweden is still a monarchy?
My final tip for you is the Vasa Museum, where you can see the famous ship Vasa, which sank during its maiden voyage. Extra tip? Admission is free for anyone under 18 😎.

On Menorca, I found a secret pearl in the . I visited this island in 2018, when few people knew Mallorca had such a gorgeous little sister. The water here is crystal clear and in summer it's always a nice temperature to swim and gaze up at the endless sky.

is an amazing city. One day is obviously not enough to see everything. A very big and very diverse city in terms of architecture and people, I really enjoyed my stay there.
The food there is also amazing. It doesn't matter if you're eating something traditional or a foreign cuisine like sushi.
Everything is fresh and delicious. They definitely take care of good and healthy food.
All in all, very beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
Oh yes, and you might get a sore neck from the sight of all those tall buildings... 😅
Definitely want to visit it again and stay here longer.

One of the cities we visited recently was . An incredible city filled with a sense of antiquity and newness.
Potsdam was practically destroyed during the Second World War, which means that the architecture of that time has not been preserved. However, the local authorities and enthusiastic investors decided to rebuild the city. So the old buildings and the replica buildings exist side by side.
That's it, a bit of history. And now for the best part 😊 Walking by the river we were told that one of the apartments is owned by Mr. Scholz.
P.S. For those who don't know, that's the German .
Walking around the city we wandered into a little Holland. In fact, it looked exactly like this: little old, red houses filled with their own unique history.
By the way, if you get hungry, this is where you can taste the delicious cheesecake. We're sure everyone will find a taste (more than 20 of them). 😋
There are plenty of parks (one of the very famous is ) and 'secret' streets where the history of the city is hidden.
A beautiful city - a must-visit!

The capital of hygge – Denmark is one the luckiest countries in the world and the inhabitants of the capital, Copenhagen, know exactly how to create that special kind of cozyness thats called hygge 😌Hygge means delicious food, slowing down and having a good time with friends and family. Eating fish is a must when visiting denmark, thats nearly completly surrounded by water. Copenhagen is a multicultural, busy city. But it´s only a stone´s throw wenting out of the city and coming down in a holiday home 🏡 I stayed in such a cute little house when i visited denmark and i recommend it to you. The nature is so quiet and peaceful, you can have a beach for you alone and dont have to meet anyone, if you don´t want to 😉

Minsk is the capital of . Like all centres, is a Multicultural City. Walking around, we noticed some interesting buildings from Soviet times. It gave the impression that the architects of that time didn't use the laws of physics 😅

All together we took a walk along the River, which flows through Minsk. The evening view turned out to be amazing. 😍

While we were walking we got hungry so we decided to have a nice 😁 Belarusian dinner.

We tried the "Draniki" and "Shchi soup" national dishes. Michi was so full that he practically couldn't move afterwards 😂

Here in Minsk, historic buildings and places with incredible energy have been preserved 😉

P.s. If you like cultural places like theatres, museums, ballet or theme parks, the city offers an incredible number of locations.

Venice is one of those cities you have to visit once in your life.
It is the Italian essence in its pure form, pizza everywhere. The weather there is fantastic.
Venice is a small city, but every part is really beautiful. 😍
We rented a "gondola", which is the name of the small boat that is very famous there.
There are no roads in Venice, so it's the only way to get to places instead of walking.
We ate the pasta "penne al ragú" 😋 near the river, which is really recommendable.
I'm glad I can share this experience with my friends - Michi😃

Dominic Republic is probably the closest thing to paradise I've ever witnessed.
The people are very nice and laid back, always in the best mood and their smiles are contagious.
Interestingly, a lot of roads don't have names and houses don't have addresses. So if you want to go somewhere or find back, you better have someone with you who is in the know 😅.
Not saying I got lost or anything ...
No matter where you go, you'll probably find something interesting. But if you can, do check out the less touristy sides of the country.
A lot of people there live very simple lifes, living of their own produce. I think I've learned there, that you don't have to have a lot to lead a very satisfying life.
And of course the food (and booze) is amazing, i think that goes without saying

Hamburg is the place where our journey began.
It's a city well known for its nightlife...
There are a lot of clubs. In one of those,
Johnny had a very good experience with one girl 🤭 We didn't see him until the next morning 😅.
Our favourite restaurant there was " Das Feuerschiff" 🚢
We can also recommend eating Fischbrötchen 🍞 on the Elbe.
Elbe.
In one o the hostels we stayed in we shared all
our nights with an Italian who snored so loud 😅.
