Incredible month in Israel 🇮🇱 and Egypt 🇪🇬..
After the trip in Indonesia... was time to visit and all the friends we made along the way in their home country.
After opening my mind back in Indonesia for one month, coming from 3 years in Australia, I was ready for the new adventure, ready to get involved in places, situations and people completely different than what I'm used to... The Middle East!
Mimi and I decided to take the hard way... hitchhike all the country, go visiting places and friends through all the way, adapting ourselves to whatever came to us...
We found ourselves sleeping in the floor near a river, hitchhiking at 1am through the highway, being hosted by completely strangers, sleeping in a park... but also, the fact that we put ourselves in those situations made us meet amazing human beings, get to know places that we would never thought about visiting, and last but not least, have experiences that taught us how to live.
I believe that putting yourself consciously in situations that are challenging, hard or even annoying, brings you the ability of dealing with problems in the future... we have to learn how to adapt ourselves to whatever the conditions are, so being in s**t situations by choice, prepare you for what can come in scenarios you don't choose to be!

Indonesia! 🇮🇩

After 3 years in Australia... it was time to get out of the comfort of that amazing country to continue the journey to unknown places for me, places where I don't feel secure... exactly where you feel the adventure begins, where you start knowing yourself a bit better, where you start growing and learning again...

How crazy that our minds are always choosing to stay where it feels the safest , the most comfortable... that pattern (that we all have) needs first, to be acknowledged if we want to break it at some point of our life.
But the most difficult part is to face our fears and insecurities, find the courage in ourselves to get into the unknown in the search of whatever we want out of this life, or at least recognise what we don't want...

Is there something YOU can do in the next days that will break with that pattern?

The biggest mistake is… we think that we have TIME.
Time is free… but is priceless,
We can’t own it… but we can use it
We can’t keep it… but we can spend it,
And when it’s lost… we can’t never get it back.

Australian vibes..! 🇦🇺
2 years already travelling... definitely not the same person that left home 2 years ago, and I cannot expect to be the same, nobody would like to be the same.
All kind of people and environments opened my mind and made me perceive life in a completely different way.
Too many learnings and experiences that nobody can teach you in a classroom... learnt the importance of not prejudging, of accepting people as they are; the importance of being grateful, kind; to love and share; to be the example of what you want to see; to appreciate the power of being flexible and willing to adapt oneself to different conditions that we cannot control.
Who would say that 2 years ago, full of concerns and fears, I was gonna end up having the life I always wanted to have, doing what I love to do, surrounded by the people I wanted to be... still focusing myself in growing and learning, from myself and things and people around me.
It doesn’t mean that there are not problems or difficult times, there have to be (this makes me appreciate the good moments and make me realise about what really matters to me).
Is so rewarding the feeling of choosing, through your decisions and actions, how I want my problems to look like, and it’s something that not everyone can choose, is important to learn to decide how you want your life to look like, because if you don’t do it, life is gonna decide for you.
