Today we hit the local farmers market before packing up 5 boxes! We planned our 8 panel center piece flag and are just trucking right along!

If you feel the Christmas spirit calling you, we could use white garland, white ornaments and red/white/blue mesh!!!

Meet Randy!!!

Randy is another volunteer we get the pleasure of sweating with sometimes!! He was up bright and early assembling panels today! These guys are the backbone of the chute. Behind the scenes there is so much going on to make the chute work properly.

Hey team!!!

Today we had a productive day! We turned in our homework decor, exchanged stars for garland, built clusters and glued lots of toppers!!

We are planning on finishing and counting the clusters and then we will be BOXING!!

Gather all your friends and family for October! The countdown is on!

As we fill Reed Architecture with decor my heart couldn’t be prouder of all the amazing support we have been receiving! The employees here at Reed, our volunteers and all the kids many of us drag in and out have just been amazing and patient through changes and blossoming ideas. This truly brings people together and I’ll always remember this sticky, glittery, sweaty time of my life! ❤️

We walked into our section to find bags on bags of finished and perfect p**fs!!!! 🤩🤩

American Heritage Bank told us if we cut the cello they would zip tie the p**fs and they didn’t disappoint!!! The tellers from multiple branches have started helping and it is a huge help! Our team will use thousands of these and every step counts!!

Meet Stuart!!

He has been at American Heritage Bank for about a month and really enjoys Sapulpa ❤️ it is 105• outside and he’s in the chute building just working away!! He is assembling panels and was working on Patriotic with the biggest smile!!

Another day, another decor party!!

Huge thank you to Reed Architecture for setting up a giant room for us to play and store the goods!!

Today we glued tops on 72 ornaments and cut 750 sheets of cellophane!! 🇺🇸🎅🏼 Patriotic Team- Rt 66 Christmas Chute!!! Join the party on Hobson every Friday at 3pm!!

Good morning everyone!

Check your emails! Jennifer has been sending updates and meeting times. Reed Architecture has graciously made a work space for us and we will be meeting there every Friday at 3pm until we leave!!! It’s nice and air conditioned and we have room to create!!

We need at least 2,500 p**fs!!! We have a few hundred down with hundreds on hundreds to go!! Please check in with me if you have some at home so we can add those into our count!

But also let us know if you would like to make p**fs or join our Friday frenzies!!

Happy 4th of July from the Patriotic Team!

As we celebrate our separation and independence today, let’s celebrate everyone who helps keep that possible!!

We LOVE that we received the Patriotic section and need help filling 40 panels!! We have BIG plans for our stretch of delight! If anyone has a hook up on bulk Service dog tags, metal laser cutters for big fun shapes, 3d printers or any ideas to make Team USA sparkle, join in on the fun! Plastic, metal and mesh is how we roll!! We need p**fers, shakers and money makers 😉.

What makes you think red, white and blue Christmas!? You don’t have to be part of the dream team to throw ideas out here! We accept ideas, advertising, zip ties, manual labor, paint skills, and more!!! Creativity keeps your brain flowing! Need a project for you and granny!? Come on! 1 hour or 100! Join in and be a part of something amazing!!!

Productive Captain meeting tonight at American Heritage Bank!! We discussed work days, volunteer opportunities and got more ideas on building. We were able to peek at new advertising and posters that will be distributed in other cities to draw people to town!

Looks like our team will need around 5,000 p**fs!!! We need all the help we can get!! We need more volunteers! Come with your family, bring your kids! Build character 💪

Also, if you want a team shirt, they are $20 and they are adorable!!! Our team has not submitted an order but many teams got theirs back tonight! I was jealous 😬 so let’s get those and take some cute pics!!!

Drill holes in planned ornaments..string wire through each ball and repeat until desired look, then add your homemade mesh ribbon bow!

4 team members took their lunch breaks to do some inventory! We have thousands of pieces to rip open, count and re-box into sections! This hanging gate looking contraption is 1 of hundreds (maybe thousands) that need garland, lights and decor! It is overwhelming yet exciting to watch this come to life!!
