CANADA
Our 2022‒2024 Immigration Levels Plan outlines an ambitious but responsible path for immigration to fuel Canada’s economic recovery and post-pandemic growth over the next few years: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2022/02/new-immigration-plan-to-fill-labour-market-shortages-and-grow-canadas-economy.html
To ensure Canada has the workers it needs to support a strong economy into the future, we plan to welcome:
➡️ 431,645 permanent residents (PRs) in 2022
➡️ 447,055 PRs in 2023
➡️ 451,000 PRs in 2024 (about 1% of the Canadian population)
To support Canada's economic growth, nearly 60% of planned admissions are in the Economic Class.
We will continue to support:
✔️ family reunification
✔️ vulnerable populations and refugees
✔️ Francophone immigration
✔️ talent retention in Canada
Put simply, more immigration means more people in Canada participating in our workforce, engaging in our communities, and giving back to our economy. Now, more than ever, to Canada. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/immigration-matters/track-record.html
