Ben Fogle visited Međimurje and concluded that the region rightly bears the Green Destination label!
British TV presenter, writer and adventurer, Ben Fogle, known for his wildlife series, swimming with crocodiles, running in Antarctica, rowing across the Atlantic... spent Friday in Međimurje.
For a true advocate of ecology and sustainability, a visit to Međimurje, the first Croatian region certified as a Green destination, fit in with what he has been fighting for with his decades of work and activism. He visited several destinations and was, as he said, delighted by what he saw, how much a small region in a small European country dedicated itself to preserving its traditions and diverse natural resources.
As part of that, he also visited the Lookout tower Mađerkin breg and filmed part of the report right at the Lookout.
