Operation Replace the Rotten Spreaders….

When we bough Mitre, we knew the spreaders needed replaced, but didn’t know they were THIS bad!

Thanks to the help of friends , family .nate, and our local sailing community, we were able to successfully retrieve, remake (thank you Mark!) and replace the spreaders.

Hopefully these ones will last another 45 years!

I have to brag a little bit about Ms. Kira Ann here. She is one strong, ambitious, thoughtful and beautiful woman. Aside from her day to day requirements, Kira never stops. She puts in double time working for multiple people, starting a business, making time for our relationship, and on top of that training for this half marathon coming up Saturday. 13 mile runs are no joke! I don’t know how often you meet someone this driven but I am really lucky to feel your energy and see your driving force forward and results each and every day!
You deserve everything amazing coming your way... I love your ALFA life Adventure-Love-Freedom-Authenticity

In the last 6 months, we’ve had three vacations disrupted by unlucky weather, First by smoke, then by hurricanes and now, snow! So if there’s one thing we’ve learned to excel at by now, it’s rolling with the punches 👊🏼 Afterall, it’s not where you are, it’s who you’re with that matters.❤️

After living in a time of constant overstimulation from technology, I began to find myself craving the desire to completely unplug and be more present in my relationship, friendships and time spent with loved ones.

How often do you catch yourself mindlessly scrolling through the gram and look up and realize you lost an hour? The older I get the more things I put on my plate and the faster time seems to fly by. Then you begin to realize you can never get the unconscious times back.

Do you want to work on a business idea, spend time on your fitness, call your grandparents, or just take the easy way out? The choice is yours. If you want to look back without regret don’t waste another moment, get off the couch and act now!

Let’s talk routines.

“Cleaning day”

These are just a few examples of common, repetitive actions many try to incorporate into their lives to create efficiency and higher chances of success! But is it just us, or does it feel like there’s something missing?

We strongly believe it’s supper important to stay focused and disciplined when it comes to routines, but it’s even more important to make time for ones that bring us closer together.

So every Tuesday the world can wait. We turn off our phones and close our laptops to celebrate something very dear to our hearts.... tacos!!

Taco Tuesday has become more than just a delicious and enjoyable part of our weekly routine, it’s become a night to relax, build memories and bring us closer together. And it always gives us something to look forward to! 🌮 ❤️ 🎉

We never thought our first flight together would be on a tiny Cessna to Cozumel Island.... but when we’re not able to get there by boat, we spread our wings and fly!

Coba “Waters stirred by the wind.”

Two days after exploring Chichen Itza we were so excited to have the opportunity to visit Coba ruins. The Coba Ruins are a less explored wonder of the Yucatán Peninsula. Coba was constructed from 600-900 a.d. The isolated location and dense surrounding jungle made the site hard to explore. Surprisingly it is still largely unexcavated today.

The feelings while adventuring through ancient sites thousands of years old together is indescribable. Where was the last place you went, what were your feelings? Where are you going to adventure to next?
