Happy 2025!!! 🥳

2024 was a great year filled with BIG adventures, but 2025 is going to be our biggest adventure yet, as my husband and I prepare to welcome Baby Storks in the next few days!

Before baby comes, I'll be wrapping up some quotes and working on requests that have already been sent to me, but once little man arrives, I'll be taking a maternity leave from travel agent work for a little while. I'll be back to planning vacations in full swing in a couple months.

Thank you all for your support in 2024, and I can't wait to share more travel tips once we start taking our baby on his own adventures! 🩵

🌀Walt Disney World update for Hurricane Milton 🌀

On Wednesday, October 9, the Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1:00 PM.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will close at 1:00 PM
Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT, and Disney Springs will close at 2:00 PM.

It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, October 10. They will consider opening Disney Springs on Thursday in the late afternoon, with limited offerings.

🎃 This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom park on Thursday, October 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

🏨 Disney Resort Hotel Closures:
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, October 13.

🚌 Transportation:
Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating on Wednesday, October 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close.

Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.

⛳️ Recreation:
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, October 9. Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park remains closed for planned refurbishment.

Have you ever been to Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar in Disney Springs? ✈️

This super cool lounge is themed to Indiana Jones and has hidden references to the movies throughout the dining area! (Spot Indy's satchel in one pic. 😉)

Plus, the food here is SO good. They have the best deviled eggs I've ever had in Disney World, and they even have a charcuterie-filled soft pretzel. 😋

No reservations needed to get into this spot, so walk up and ask about availability during your next visit!

I tried Disney World's NEW snack spot! 🥳

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is now officially open at Disney's BoardWalk. They serve a variety of corn dogs, as well as specialty lemonades and cotton candy.

I tried the Mexican Strest Dog during my visit and it was SPICY! 🌶️ I can't wait to go back and try more treats. 😋

Have you ever caught the Clap Box in Disney World?! 📦

The Clap Box is a somewhat rare occurrence in Disney World, usually happening in the parks when it's slower or less crowded. Cast Members will make a tape box on the ground and then wait nearby for guests to step inside.

What happens when you step in? They cheer and clap for you! It can go on as short or as long as you'd like and I've seen many a game of "Hokey Pokey" with these boxes. 😂

It's a really fun and simple way that Disney Cast Members brighten up your day in the parks!

Have you been to EPCOT lately? The park has changed so much in the past few years! 🎉

It's no longer covered in construction walls, and now we have new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and Journey of Water -- Inspired by Moana. The current fireworks show is called Luminous -- the Symphony of Us, and it's an incredible showcase of fireworks and lighting effects with a soundtrack full of under-the-radar Disney songs.

With World Celebration now officially reopened in the middle of the park, it's so much easier to get around and I'm enjoying my visits here a lot more!

I recently got to visit Disney Cruise Line's private island, Castaway Cay!

This spot is a stop on several itineraries for Disney Cruise Line, and it offers a full day of relaxation and entertainment. During my visit, I snorkeled, rode a bike around the island, checked out the scenic 5K path, ate some yummy food, spotted multiple Disney characters, and more!

What's your FAVORITE character meal in Disney World? 🤔

Currently, I'm pretty partial to Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, where you can meet Winnie the Pooh and friends! We had great interactions with the characters and breakfast was delicious. 🤤

Other favorites of mine include Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort, and 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. 🍽️
