Such epic looking fish! Bluefin Trevally would have to be there be of the coolest fish in the tropics, combining electric colours, a super aggressive attitude and exceptional fighting ability into one hectic package.

This one took a liking to the On Top Lures x hunters Crispy Vintage 100g in the Yasawa Islands with Island Way Adventures

After a windy week, the weather calmed down and we were back at it!

A lunch fit for a 🤴+👸, these two newly weds joined us on a beach picnic.

Charcoal cooked catch ✔️
Dreamy weather ✔️
Smiles all round ✔️

A proud moment for Fijian sailors today in the Round Malolo Classic which is the serious event of our Fiji regatta week. For the first time the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the multi hull division all go to Fijian teams. "Burt" (1hr 26) from the Musket Cove marina, "Kaia" (1 hr 30) from Vuda Marina and "Miss Minnie" (1 hr 35) from Denerau marina.

"Fenice" (1 hr 52), "Wave" (2 hr 4) and "Akonga" ( 2 hr 5) took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the mono hull division.

The records still stand for both divisions from 2017 with "Kotuku" at 1:15:45 for the multi hull and "Enso" at 1:39:45 for the mono hull.

24 boats competed in total.

Thanks to the Natabe Retreat guests for a great day of fishing and lots of laughs! Catching an 18kg Spanish mackerel as the biggest catch of the day! 🎣 🐠

Here in the Yasawas the saying goes; “if you haven’t visited the Sawa-I-lau caves, you haven’t seen the Yasawas” The caves hold many Fijian legends, including also being known as the Pregnacy caves.. dare to find out why?
