Carnarvon, Western Australia.
We loved our stay in Carnarvon. Easy walk from Coral Coast Tourist Park into town and along the waterfront. Each morning a coffee and treat from the Gascoyne Bakery Cafe in town.
The Woolworths in town is a great place to stock up before hitting the road again.

The Pinnacles are natural limestone structures, formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed to the elements.

Well we might have found our favourite town in WA so far.
Busselton is located 2.5 hours south of Perth right on the coast. It is well know for the Busselton Jetty which is the longest timber piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.
We stayed 3 nights at on a powered site.

Located 30km West of Albany is this beautiful free camp next to the beach. We arrived mid afternoon and had two spots to pick from. It is a great spot to explore Albany and Denmark. There is toilets, rubbish bins and a dump point on site.

We found another great free camp on the Nullarbor. It is easy to miss the turnoff so slow down and you will see it. The sites are located at least 100m off the highway and you can tuck yourself in behind the trees so it’s a safe spot to spend the night.
Find it on ‘Nuytsland Nature Reserve’
