THE TIME HAS COME!!! I am soooo excited to share my incredible discovery in East Texas! I've finally put some dates together for an overnight trip to the hidden jewel Kiepersol Winery, Distillery and Bed & Breakfast. Depending upon the response, we will gather on Friday Sept. 17, Friday Nov. 5 and/or Friday Nov. 12 at the Bed & Breakfast. Accommodations for double occupancy will range from beautiful rooms in the main house with private porches to unique rooms in the stable house, all with ensuite bathroom of course. Also available for the Sept. 17 and Nov. 5 dates is the 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage for friends to share!
To keep the cost reasonable, you will provide your own transportation - it is 2 hours from Shreveport, 20 miles south of Tyler, TX. Included in the package will be:
one night accommodation,
breakfast (believe me it is NOT continental - think eggs benedict over filet mignon!)
tasting of 5 wines (more available at $2 each)
private tour of the winery and distillery
private reception upon arrival with hors d'ouerves and cash bar
The price of the trip, based upon double occupancy, will range from $180 per person - $230, based upon the type of accommodation. The first 5 couples or singles to RSVP will receive a complimentary copy of "Top Texas Wineries - An Opinionated Guide for Wine Tourists" by Andrew Chalk.

I discovered a hidden jewel in east Texas on my way back from picking up my "new" used car in Dallas. Kiepersol B & B and Winery and Distillery is beautiful!!!! They are accepting bookings fbeginning summer of 2021 in Alaska and hopefully soon in Canada. You can book up to 2 years in advance! Whereas I use to book mostly cruises, I am doing everything now and plan to focus on American travel for awhile until people are ready to travel abroad. There are so many wonderful places to visit in the US and we now have 4 different cruise companies cruising American rivers!
