Hey guys unfortunately we are going to have to cancel the beginner MTB ride until the spring :(
Because of all the rain and flooding, the conditions of the D&L and single tracks are not good.
I know it's a bummer but there's nothing we can do :(
If anyone has any idea if we can change the location let me know!

Hey guys due to the incoming storm combined with the extreme heat and flooded trails we've decided to cancel the bike ride for tonight. We want to take care of our trails as well as it's riders :)
I'll let everyone know about the next upcoming ride soon! Maybe next Thursday or in two more weeks.

Guys remember that tomorrow we have another beginner MTB ride at 5:45, with the ride starting promptly at 6. For the new people who are interested on this ride is approx 8.5 miles out & back. The route includes the canal singletrack along the D&L Rail Trail, turn around at Chantilly Goods, and then back to JT.
Can't wait to see all of you.

Last bike ride was a blast like always. Thank you so much guys for coming.
My parents just arrived from Chile so I'll postpone tomorrow's ride until next Thursday.

Remember guys that tomorrow we have our beginner MTB :) We'll meet at 5:30 pm at Pocono Biking in downtown Jim Thorpe, with the ride starting promptly at 5:45.
If you wanna go but you don't have a bike you can rent one in Pocono biking but you would have to arrive earlier.
After the ride we'll watch a movie at Donerds Donuts Jim Thorpe patio.
Can't wait!!! See you guys tomorrow :)

Hey guys! Due to the predicted afternoon/evening thunderstorms, we will be canceling tonight Beginner MTB Ride :( But tell your friends and get ready to be on the trail on July 22nd :)

Our first beginner bike ride of the year was a success. Tomorrow we may have it again but this is going to depend on the weather. It seems like it's going to rain all day :( So I'll be watching the weather and I'll post tomorrow if we cancel it or not.
The same with the movie night. Remember that after our beginner bike rides we'll always be showing a movie in our patio.
Thank you guys and let's see what happens.

Guys finally we are going to get back on the trails :) So tomorrow we'll meet at at 5:30 pm and leave for the ride at 5:45. The route will include the canal singletrack along the D&L trail and then back to Jim Thorpe. This route is about 8 miles and after the bike ride we can go to Donerds Donuts Jim Thorpe patio and watch a movie :)
On a big screen protector ;)
If you don't have a bike you can rent one at Poconos biking but try to get a little bit earlier.

Hey guys so we have a new date for the beginner MTB and this is June 24 at 5:30 pm. Can't wait to see all of you again and make this group bigger and bigger.
If you like to enjoy nature,ride your bike and meet nice people this is the group for you 🙂

Hey guys tonight is the last beginner MTB ride of the season. We'll meet at 5:30 and we'll start riding at 5:45. Remember if you need to rent a bike arrive a little bit earlier. I'm really happy with the group we formed and can't wait for next summer to make this group bigger and bigger.
Jim Thorpe used to be one of the best MTB locations in the north east. Together we can make this town one of the best again :)

Hey guys remember that tomorrow at 5:30 pm we are doing the beginner MTB ride :) This time we'll change of location because of weather conditions and we'll do it at the switchback because we don't want to damage the trails we always ride. I'm so excited to see all of you tomorrow and to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. We'll be meeting at the parking lot just before the intersection of Hill Rd and South Ave. See you there!

Yesterday the beginner MTB ride was a success!
We had a pretty big group (some people missing in the pictures) and everyone did their best to ride the whole trail.
Remember we'll meet again on June 25 at 5:45 at Pocono biking, Jim Thorpe.
If you don't have a bike, don't worry because you can rent one at there. See you guys next time!

JT’s closest downhill park is now open for shredding! 🤙

Conquer the mountain from open to close! Tickets must be purchased in advance, there will be no walk up ticket purchase available at the windows. Tickets can be redeemed at our self serve ticket kiosks or at the mountain bike counter.
