We were driving down Highway 1, wanting to shoot somewhere pretty for sunset. We were getting a bit worried because we weren’t finding any great places to stop and the sun was going down... We quite literally turned a corner and saw this huge incredible beach with giant rocks and gorgeous water and almost nobody around. We sprinted down to the beach and started shooting... The water was freezing!! My toes were like ice, but it was so so worth it.

On Wednesday afternoon, I was having issues with my pacemaker. On Thursday morning, I was on a flight to Guatemala.

I’m okay. But THIS. This is one of the main reasons why I travel. I know that right now, I’m relatively young and healthy. But that won’t always be the case. I wanna take advantage of every single moment while I can: hike every mountain, chase every sunset, feel every foreign word slip off my tongue. Meet strangers who become friends on bumpy bus rides and in cheap hostels, learn about their families and their fears, and get to know their dreams, and them mine. This world and all its many people have so much to teach me, always. 🇬🇹 •

The most beautiful country on earth 🌏

I arrived in Nepal for my 3 week 25th birthday present - a 15 day trek to Everest Base camp, and I’ll have to say I was not disappointed. I enjoyed every aspect of this trip, from the dusty Kathmandu streets and the constant switch backs along the trek to the colourful boats on Lake Phewa.

🇳🇵Some people may say I’m over stating it when I say that it’s the most beautiful country in the world but it really is. If the friendly people and unique food aren’t enough to draw you in the millions of ways to trek the Himalayas certainly will. Nepal has been hit hard over the years, from the devastating earthquake in 2015 to the 2020 pandemic they can’t seem to catch a break. Tourism is a main industry there and I can’t wait to go back and support Nepal once it’s safe to travel again ❤️

Scotland has been my first destination as a solo traveller, and as the 15th country on my list, I am extremely satisfied on experiencing the capital city Edinburgh at it’s historical landmarks and culture. Don’t be afraid to travel solo, simply go and you will be surprised!

Hawaii Spirit 🌺🌈 ‚The Road To Hana‘ 🙌🏻⛰🛤

It is considered the 5th MOST DANGEROUS road in the world!
Huge cliffs, blind turns and no guardrails.

It is only 100km long but takes 7-9 hours to drive. Sometimes more, depending on how many stops you make.
We got up at 4:30 in the morning and came back around 6pm.

It takes you to beautiful waterfalls, big cliffs covered in trees and a huge diversity of plants in the rainforest. 🌿

My highlight was the hike trough a bamboo forest at the end of the road - ‚The Pīpīwai Trail‘

Planning a trip with your significant other, family or bestie? Why not tack-on a few days at the end for deeper exploration on your own?

Some “me” time might be JUST what the doctor ordered after sharing a small hotel room for a week! It’s also the perfect way to indulge in an activity that may be of more interest to you than the rest of your travel buddies.

▪️Spend daytime alone —

Here’s an idea for your next trip: plan to spend daytime alone for solo adventuring and meet up with your travel companion(s) for dinner!

▪️Start small —

How about a weekend away in a nearby town you’ve always wanted to check out? Or maybe there are touristy things in your OWN town you still haven’t gotten around to seeing! Start small with solo experiences and ease yourself into it!
▪️Join a group retreat —

Who says solo travel means you have to be *completely* on your own? There are no rules here. Why not join a travel group full of other solo travelers so you can all experience it together!

I fell in love with traveling when I turned 20 years old and have explored 25 different countries on my own since. It was a way for me to turn my childhood traumas into bliss and connect with good-hearted humans all across the globe. Life abroad never falls short of being eventful.. I’ve hitchhiked, been hospitalized, stung in the head by a jellyfish, lived in a commune, went diving with sharks, and most importantly.. found out that you can find community anywhere in the world.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations
One of the best thing i did in island is visit the South, it's filled with beautiful scenery like this beautiful waterfall💦
Seljalandafoss is one of the few waterfalls that you can go behind. As i was doing this my phone got soaked and turned off due to water damage.
I PANICKED HARD. I was in a foregin country,by myself, I did'nt know anyone there and i was miles away from my hotel. I legit cried😭
THANKFULLY, a few hours later on the bus back to Reykjavik my phone miraculously turned back on🥳
And i noticed this effect on my pics where water had gone onto the lens.💧
BRIGHTSIDE: my phone still works and isn't this pic so cooler then a clear one?!? 😎

Legends… Vikings…Waterfalls…Hidden treasure??? COUNT ME IN!!!!!

According to Icelandic legend, a Viking by the name of Thrasi hid a chest of gold behind the massive Skógafoss waterfall. The first person to retrieve the chest would get the treasure!

Retrieving this chest of gold might be easier said than done, as this is one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland (about 60 meters high.) But the power of the waterfall is a truly impressive and incredible thing to witness. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a rainbow or two as the sun shines on the mist.

Save this post to remember to pay this waterfall a visit when in Iceland!

Coming to India was on mine, as I’ve studied yoga for 12 years, spent some time dabbling in of the teachings of Buddha, curry is one of my favorite things in the world to eat 🤤, AND it has some of the most beautiful structures to photograph. Like the entire city of Jaipur, which honestly has been called a photographer’s dream. What do you think about the beautiful pink city 💕

Pakistan is blessed with abundant natural and historical riches. Incredible mountain landscapes are set against a backdrop of desert forts and stories of sultans and djinns. In its cities, ancient bazaars are home to intricately etched copper kitchenware alongside pungent spice racks and steaming tea stalls.

Sarajevo is an incredibly underrated and beautiful place to visit 💖

I took a cable car up Trebevick Mountain and saw amazing views of the city. On the hike down I walked on the 1984 Olympic bob sled tracks and saw fortresses from the war. In Old Town, there is a mix of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, Slavic, Muslim, Orthodox, Catholic and Jewish cultures, which you experience through the shops and restaurants.

The bridge is where Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, which started world war 1. Lastly, the art gallery () displayed images from the Bosnian war and genocide of 8,000+ Muslims in Srebrenica. It was an eye opening experience! 10/10 would recommend visiting.

Deep sea fishing in Sumatra Indonesia. One day me and annuske.coertez were fishing 🎣 at the dock, and a group of fisherman asked if we would like to join them deep sea fishing. We went one hour out to sea on a little wooden boat, and the motor cut out once but one of our friends were able to get it working again. Annuske caught three fish and I like usual caught zero, but I still got to reel some in. I unfortunately couldn’t swim in the beautiful water around us because of all the jellies 🐙
