There were A LOT of Disney announcements last week! Here's a recap:

🏰WALT DISNEY WORLD🏰
-Monsters, Inc Land coming to Hollywood Studios! (This land will feature Disney's first suspended coaster!)
-Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom!!!
-A Cars area is headed to Frontierland in Magic Kingdom!
-Tropical Americas will be replacing the DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom! (This land will feature a new Indiana Jones ride and an Encanto ride.)
-Two new lounges will open in 2025. These will be Spaceship Earth Lounge at EPCOT and a Pirates of the Caribbean themed tavern in Magic Kingdom.
-"Zootopia: Better Zoogether" opens next winter and will be a brand new show at Animal Kingdom's Tree of Life Theater!
-"Disney Starlight" will be a brand new NIGHTTIME SHOW coming to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025!
-The reimagined Test Track will reopen in EPCOT in 2025.
-Coming to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, join Mandalorian and Grogu on a brand new adventure coming to the Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run!

🎠DISNEYLAND RESORT🎠
-An Avatar themed land is coming to Disney California Adventure!
-Avengers Campus will be expanding in size with TWO new attractions! (One is called Avengers Infinity Defense and the other one is called Stark Flight Lab!)
-The first ever Walt Disney Audio Animatronic will open in 2025 inside the Main Street Opera House! This will be called "Walt Disney: A Magical Life"
-Pixar's Coco is getting its first attraction! This ride will be located in Disney California Adventure
-Tiana's Bayou will officially open on November 15!

🚢DISNEY CRUISE LINE🚢
-Disney Cruise Line will add on 4 NEW ships to their fleet from 2027 to 2031, which will bring their total to 13!!

Big News from Disney Parks!

Beginning July 24 Genie+ will be renamed to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. This will allow guests to make advanced Lightning Lane reservations ahead of their vacation.

The best way to understand this new system is to use a Share the Magic Travel Agent who will help walk you through what this means for your next vacation.

This summer, changes are coming to the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry, including new ways to plan ahead.

Hi, there! 👋🏻

We have some new faces here, so I wanted to pop in and say, “hello!” One thing I love about being a travel agent is getting to know my clients! So I thought I’d start the week off with a “Get to Know Your Travel Agent” post, so you can know me better! Here are just a few random facts about me! ☺️

💙💙 I am a mama to 2 wild boys! (My oldest is almost 4, and my youngest is just about to turn 1!)

📖 I love Jesus, and I love to write. (I actually write Bible study materials!)

☕️I love coffee! (I’m absolutely addicted to Disney coffee mugs! Anyone else???)

🧡 I am a VOLS fan! (I grew up an Alabama fan, but a couple of years ago I made the switch to the Big Orange!!! My hubby is from Knoxville, and he finally wore off on me!)

🎢 I never went to Disney as a child. (I was 23 the first time I went to Disney World, 34 on my first trip to Universal, and 35 when I went to Disneyland this year.)

👩🏻‍🏫 I used to be a teacher! (I taught middle school for 7 years.)

Disney announced details on how you will be able to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!!!

There will be 2 options:

1. The virtual queue

When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, it will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, they expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.

2. The Disney Genie+ service

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service. Purchasing this service on the My Disney Experience app helps you get to some of your favorite attractions faster through Lightning Lane entrances and includes digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of your purchase at no additional charge. Guests may check the app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.

“We’ve got a 2319!”

We are a Monsters, Inc loving family! Braxton has a big Sulley stuffed animal he sleeps with every night, and even though he didn’t start talking until he was 2, “Mike Wazowski” was one of his first words! 🤣

Disneyland had some AMAZING Monsters Inc experiences while we were there! The ride was a blast (loved Roz at the end!), Mike and Sulley were in the Pixar Fest parade, and they even had a Mike and Sulley meet and greet set up for the festival as well.

I think my favorite thing was this yummy drink that they had as a special Pixar Fest treat. The name of the drink? “Shake 2319” 💛💛💛 It was so good, and it was big enough to share!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom this Fall, and the dates and pricing have been released have for this “spooktacular” event:

August: 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30
September: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29
October: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will begin at 7:00 PM on those select nights!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket prices will range from $119-$199 depending on the date of the party you attend!

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting May 8, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 15.

I have sent an email to all of my clients going to Walt Disney World this fall, so I can get your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets taken care of for you! :)

Last year's dates sold out quickly, so I am anticipating the same for this year. If you haven’t booked your fall vacation to Walt Disney World yet and would like to, please reach out to me so we can get your vacation booked!
