Two turtle encounters today at work.
The box (3toed)turtle was just cruising across the sidewalk.
This big ole soft shell turtle was crossing the road so he was moved on across so he wouldn’t be late for a dinner date.
I love working in the park....

Well last Wednesday I completed a Sawyer Class with Texas Parks and Wildlife. I learned so much in the proper techniques to fell a tree...surprised I didn’t kill myself in all the years of doing it wrong.

My tree came down within two feet of the projected target. It was very tall, dead and a danger to park visitors. The sound it made when it hit the ground was so loud.

Well we know everyone is wondering where the heck are Keith, Pam, and Ruby at,
and what are they doing ?

Well we are up in Sanger Texas...today it was colder than in Alaska burrr.

We are currently somewhat on RVing hold!
I have taken a job with Texas Parks and Wildlife.

We are staying in our rv at a local rv park but have some very interesting news.
I am attempting to buy 13.97 acres with a nice little house (my fathers old place) from my siblings.
It has always been my dream to retire there.
My goal is to restart my fathers old tradition and pass it down to my children and generations to come.

Every year the first Saturday after Christmas we had a family & friends Gumbo get together.
My father loved having everyone there enjoying each other. It was a fun time and a great feast.
Hopefully
I can make this happen.
If so we will have an awesome get together for all.
