Aperto nel 1991 dalla signora Carolina Tesoriero, che già da piccola si era appassionata all’attività ristorativa di famiglia. Il bar si specializza da subito nella produzione di granite alta qualità, con frutta fresca e gusti variegati. La granita pesca e malvasia ne è un esempio, granita che Carola ha inventato una ventina di anni fa ed ancora in auge per la sua bontà.

White Beach è uno stabilimento balneare collocato nell'omonima spiaggia, che si trova sul litorale dell'isola di Lipari, nelle Eolie, tra le frazioni di Canneto e Acquacalda. Il nome del lido e della località è legato alla spiaggia bianca e all'acqua cristallina dovuti ai sedimenti di pietra pomice provenienti da una cava vicina. Un'insenatura suggestiva, che regala colori particolari e che viene scelta come meta da giovani e adulti per trascorrere una giornata al mare. Per raggiungere questa caletta occorre lasciare l'auto un po' lontana e percorrere un sentiero tra la macchia mediterranea, oppure prendere una barca da Canneto che approda direttamente sul pontile galleggiante di White Beach.
Lo stabilimento è ben attrezzato per garantire tutto il necessario a chi vuole rilassarsi e divertirsi sulla spiaggia. Ombrelloni, sdraio e lettini possono essere noleggiati preventivamente o al proprio arrivo. Il ristorante e bar è aperto tutto il giorno e fornito con materie di prima qualità.

Il 24 agosto è la festa Ufficiale del patrono di Lipari e protettore delle Isole Eolie: San Bartolomeo.

Il protettore delle Isole Eolie viene festeggiato dagli isolani più volte all’anno in date diverse : il 13 febbraio per la prima traslazione del Corpo, il 5 marzo su richiesta dei contadini che nel 1823 scamparono alla pestilenza , il 16 novembre per lo scampato pericolo nel terremoto del 1824. La storia di San Bartolomeo è singolare: apostolo di Gesù e grande divulgatore della parola di Cristo, si spinse a diffondere il Vangelo fino in India, Azerbaigian e Mesopotamia. Fu durante le sue predicazioni in terra d’ Asia ( forse in Siria, forse in Armenia ) che venne imprigionato e scuoiato vivo dai pagani, che ne chiusero le spoglie mortali in un sepolcro. Ma tale era il fascino e la devozione che San Bartolomeo continuava ad esercitare sulle popolazioni del luogo, che gli idolatri preferirono liberarsi delle sue spoglie buttandole in mare in un sarcofago di piombo.
