Kayaking on the Harriet River, Vivonne Bay. Did a U turn about 3km upriver, and though it gets narrow, probably could have gone a bit further. Thanks Min for front seat paddling!

If you’re visiting American River, check out the progress of the rebuilding the US Schooner “Independence”. It was the first known non-indigenous vessel to be built in what was to become South Australia, and you can see it at the Rig Boathouse on the foreshore. Open most days, and next to the Deck Cafe overlooking the harbour.
