Just done a 2700km loop to check out the drought. Cessnock, Nowendoc, Tingha, Stanthorpe, St George, Lightning Ridge, Albert, Coolah then back home to Cessnock. Great ride with a great bunch of blokes. Worst area we rode through was Tingha near Inverell which has also been hit with the fires so we did ourselves proud at the local with plenty of ale and pizzas. The rode kill in some places was horrendous which included koala, roos by the hundreds, deer and pigs.

Round 1 SXS Australian Championship held at Cessnock Motorcross Track on the 18th May

In April I went down to Tailem Bend in SA for the Aus Super Bike meet to do some flag marshalling. Brand new track with $176 mill spent so far. Called "The Bend Motorsport Park" and designed to take all forms of motorsport, they just need some rain to grow some grass. Has it's own Big4 Caravan Park and BP service centre. Hunter Coalfields got adventurous taking 3 hours to get from Cessnock to Cameron Park to visit the American Classic Car Museum. What a magnificent display and a top day
