2011年3月11日、11年前の今日、当時東北にいた私にとって一生忘れることのできない一日となりました。ご存知の通り、東日本大震災によって多くの方々が亡くなり、その後も沢山の方々が大変な生活をされてきました。当時から震災復興に何らかの形で貢献したいと考え、自分のできる範囲内でのボランティアにスポット的に参加させていただきながらも、自分自身の力不足を実感して、不甲斐なさを感じてきました。

2021年3月11日、1年前の今日、毎年のこの日のように、心の中で振り返りをしていました。あらためて、多くの方々に助けられながら今生きていることを実感しつつ、震災から10年経ったこの2021年に何かを始めたいと心の中で誓いました。それと同時に、海外留学等で知り合った多くの友人が「コロナ禍が落ち着いたら、今すぐにでも日本に旅行に行きたい」と頻繁に言ってくれていたことを思い出しました。そのように言ってくれる友人が本当に多くて、素直にとても嬉しかったですし、私自身も旅が大好きで、様々な旅を通して人生が豊かになったと実感しています。そこで、より多くの国内外の観光客が日本全国の津々浦々の魅力を観光しやすい環境を築くことで、震災復興に多少なりとも貢献できれば嬉しいと考えるようになりました。

そこから少しずつではありますが、現在の「Japan Travelog」のサービスを可能な限り試しに創ってみようと思い、今日に至ります。まだまだ稚拙なサイトですが、現在投稿機能の実装を進めており (以前はGoogle Formからご投稿いただいていたものを、直接ウェブサイトからご投稿いただけるように改装中)、一区切りついたところで、テスト運用をしてみようと考えています。初期ユーザー登録にご興味のある方は、ぜひ下記のWaitlistリンクから希望ユーザー名等を記入いただければ幸いです。

龍安寺 (Ryoan_Ji, ⛩English Follows⛩)
大雲山龍安寺は京都市右京区に位置する臨済宗妙心寺派の禅寺。1450年、足利勝元が徳大寺山荘を譲り受けて、その地に寺院を建立した。⛩ その後、応仁の乱で焼失したものの、息子の細川政元により1488年に再興された。🏯 龍安寺の有名な枯山水庭園はこの時に築造されたと考えられている。🎍 その後1797年・1929年の火災によって建物が焼失したものの、その都度再建されている。1975年には日本の公式訪問の一環として、イギリスのエリザベス女王が龍安寺の石庭を見学・絶賛し、瞬く間に世界中でも有名になった。👑 そして1994年にユネスコの世界遺産「古都京都の文化財」に登録された。🗺

It was established by Katsumoto Ashikaga, who took over the land from the Fujiwara clan in 1450. ⛩ Although it was burnt down during the War of Onin, it was reconstructed in 1488 by his son Masamoto Hosokawa. 🏯 It is believed that the famous “Kare-San-Sui” garden of Ryoan_Ji was built at this time. 🎍 Since then, the building was destroyed by fire twice in 1797 and 1929, but it was repaired each time. In 1975, it quickly became famous worldwide when Queen Elizabeth paid a visit and praised the “Rock Garden” (i.e., the "Kare-San-Sui" garden) of Ryoan_Ji. 👑 Then the temple was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto'' in 1994.🗺

We pride ourselves in promoting local & authentic Japanese cuisine, which is why we are so happy to introduce you to .shigezou today! 🔥🔥🔥

Shigezou is a yakitori shop which specializes in grilled chicken over charcoal. 🍗🍢

It also sells special local sale from Kyoto, as well as gorgeous seasonal crabs 🦀, dashi maki egg rolls with special ingredients from Kagoshima prefecture🍱, and uses onion-based condiments on its yakitori sticks. The cherry on top? 🍒 Their chicken sticks start from only 110 yen, (~$1), and their dashi maki is 280 yen (~$2.5). I know, our jaws dropped too! 🤯🥳

Instagramでの最初の投稿から、早くも本日で1か月が経ちました。🎍㊗️🎉 これまで、皆様に支えていただきながら、ここまで活動してくることができました。この場を借りて、感謝申し上げます。僭越ながら、ここで少しばかり、本活動の経緯を説明させていただければ幸いです。本活動は元々、ファウンダーの世界各国の友人から、「事態が収束したら、真っ先に日本に観光に行きたい！おすすめの場所やお店を是非紹介してほしい！」との声をお伺いし、簡易ブログから始まりました。 😊 現在もまだウェブサイトはベータ版ですが、皆様のおかげさまで着実に成長し続けております。初期は京都の記事からスタートしましたが、今後は47都道府県に展開していく予定で、4か国語にて鋭意作成中でございます。現在当ウェブサイトでは観光名所、飲食店、宿泊施設等、日本全国の津々浦々の魅力を募集しており、一定程度の記事の集まった地域から、ウェブサイトも随時更新していく所存です。ご興味のある方は、をつけて、是非Instagramにポストいただけますと幸いです。当面の間は、とても完璧とはいえないウェブサイトで、お見苦しいこともあるかと承知しておりますが、何卒ご理解・ご協力の程、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。最後に、本活動のミッションに共感し、ボランティアで参画してくださったチームメンバーにもこの場を借りて、心から感謝の意を表せれば幸いです。 😊🙌🏻🥰

hirose is a newly opened restaurant in Yawata, Kyoto. They offer A4 rank cooked in front of you on ! 👩‍🍳😊🥩 You can also enjoy their style ambient atmosphere. 🎍🎋🎑

🍱🥢W O W !ヽ(*⁰▿⁰*)ﾉ♡ Is it me or is this fish looking fresh and tasty? 🐡🐟🐠..Well, according to Kitaoki Rosanjin, a gourmet from the Showa era, Kadoya was ALREADY the best place in to eat back in the 1900s!! 🏯
And if you prefer , wait 'til you hear the good news... Kadoya also makes exceptional meat-based dishes, such as their delicious hot-pot 🍲

Started in 1956, is a traditional Japanese Kaiseki restaurant located in Sonobe, Kyoto. ⛩🍁

In its neighborhood, there is Sonobe-Jo which is known as the Last Castle erected in the Japanese history back in 1869. 🏯
