Happy Summer, Vacationers!!! I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while but life happens! Have you been on vacation yet? Are you on a countdown?? I'd love to hear about what you have planned. My husband and I, along with 12 of our best friends took a cruise to celebrate some of us turning the big 4-0. It was amazing.

We flew into Newark, NJ and Ubered to a nearby hotel. We stayed the night then took another Uber to the port. We all had the same arrival time and walked right in. We did have a short wait in the security line but everyone was fine with that. Check-in was also a breeze. Post-covid has changed the way cruise lines do the muster drills. You must watch a short safety video on the app. Once you board the ship, you check-in at your assigned muster station and you are done!

Leaving from New Jersey, we sailed right by the Statue of Liberty. The first night wasn't too bad getting our sea legs. We had 2 days of cruising at sea. There were many things to do around the ship. The shows were nice as well. We participated in lots of games.

Our destination was Bermuda!!! It is a gorgeous island, and I highly recommend visiting them. We went to Horseshoe Bay to see the "pink sand" on our 1st day. The water was ice cold. The 2nd day at port, we took a 5 hour guided tour around the island and saw the world record holder for smallest draw bridge. Day 3 was rainy, but we shopped and went to the closest beach. Coming back was another sea day, and we relaxed as much as possible.

None of us had ever been on Celebrity Cruise Line. There were several pros and cons. If you are looking for family friendly, this is not your ship. There were a few kids but this is geared toward couples and older people. We did not know that going in lol. Nonetheless, we ate well, slept as much as we wanted, danced the night away, laughed until we cried, and made great memories.

If you have never been on a cruise, DO IT!!!! Don't be afraid. You will either love it or hate it, but you should definitely try it!!

In Jan., I had to pleasure to visit Hollywood Studios in California. The main reason for our visit was to see the brand new Nintendo World. As a 90's kid, my heart was so excited to see my favorite video games come to life!! Here are a few pictures from our trip. We also bought the early entry fee and it was well worth the $25 per person because when the general public came in, it was soooo crowded and the lines were over an hour long. We also got to eat at Toad's.
