There are so many River Cruise Lines to choose from and I’ve been fortunate to see 10 of them this week and 16 different ships. 👏👏 👏

I’m making my list of things that are appealing about each one. But, I have to tell you, the view from my bed last night and this morning on is pretty hard to beat!

One of the things that makes this line unique is that the beds face a floor to ceiling glass sliding door that opens up almost all the way across to reveal a French balcony.

Who wants to wake up to views like this on a ship that only hold 164 guests.

Let me tell you it is pretty amazing💕💕💕

When in Vienna…Finally got to spend the day seeing Vienna 💕

And, now we are boarding the Avalon Illumination for a 7 night voyage from Vienna to Budapest
I can’t wait to see how this one compares to the others. So far, I am pretty impressed!

So many many ships, so little time.

Today was jam packed with classes and touring more ships. 16 in all are here!

There are so many different River Cruise line options from budget to ultimate luxury available. And, they all have something a little differ to offer.

This has been an unbelievable opportunity! I mean when in the world could I ever see and experience this many ships all at once.

And, now to get my notes and pics all organized so that I can make sure that I can help you choose the cruise line that best suits you👏👏👏

This fun loving group just returned from my personal bucket list cruise🛳️

They started in Honolulu on the island of Oahu, spent 2 days on Maui, one day on the Hilo side of the Big Island, one day in the Kona side of the Big Island and 2 days on Kauai 👏👏🤣

If you want to see a little bit of ALL of the islands, this is the best way to do it.

They have done this same trip before and didn’t really need me much at all, but I sure am glad they chose to let me book their trip and support my small business. And, it didn’t cost them one cent more 👏👏👏

And, getting updates and pics from them throughout their trip sure brought me a lot of joy 🌺

And next week, I have another group heading on the same trip with a few extra days on the front end.

They have never been before, but no need to worry, because I have handled ALL of the details and all the moving parts for them to make sure they have a seamless experience 👏

Life has been a little crazy around here lately, so I’ve been a little quiet on SM on purpose.

January and February turned out to be my biggest sales months ever. And, in the midst of that, Todd’s mom went to meet Jesus face to face.

And, on top of the craziness, I’ve been getting ready to head to Austria tomorrow for a River Cruise Conference followed by my own personal cruise down the Danube

The stress this week has been REAL.

Getting my travelers ready for their own trips, servicing trips already booked, final payments made and trying to catch up on a few quotes, booking a few awesome trips (more on that later) and all the while preparing to be 6 hours ahead of my peeps for the next 2 weeks has been just a little bit stressful.

So, after church, I finally got all my things laid out ready to pack and headed out to see the grands.

And, then, I got a call. My sweet uncle received his call to see Jesus this afternoon.

So, now I’m sitting here reminiscing about my childhood and all the family gatherings and wondering where the time has gone.

Cancelled our plans. Now, to unpack. Austria will have to wait.

Did I expect to have to cancel my trip? Absolutely not.

Did I have trip insurance to protect my investment because I can’t see the future?ABSOLUTELY!

I walk my talk on that one.

I said all that to say this. Just get the dang insurance. If you can afford the trip, you can afford the insurance.

Life lately… nope I’m not here ⬇️

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, not because I’m off in some beautiful destination, but because I have been B U S Y booking some really awesome vacations👏👏👏 Check them out! (All the while dealing with some serious laryngitis 🤣)

📌 A VIKING Ocean Cruise around New Zealand and Australia 🦘and I was able to get their gratuities included ( only through me)

📌 A special graduation trip to Mexico for a family of 5 on a NONSTOP flight at that 👏

📌 Another lucky family will be celebrating a graduation at Beaches Negril where I was also able to get them 6 nights for the price of 5 👏👏👏

📌 One honeymoon couple will be celebrating at one of my favorites

📌 One couple decided on a last minute trip to in February

📌 2 families will be heading for a short trip to see the mouse at WDW in February

📌 3 couples just scored 3 mini suites on Holland America for their Alaskan Cruise in May. Don’t ask me how I found them 🤷‍♀️ Availability is LIMITED!

📌 3 couples will be heading on a European adventure in June to London, Paris and Sorrento

📌 Another family of 8 will be heading on a spring break cruise on RC

📌 4 different families just booked their summer vacay on Carnival

📌 Another sweet family just booked 6 rooms at a brand new resort in Cancun for Fall Break

📌 One lucky grandma is being taken to a beautiful all inclusive resort in Jamaica by some very sweet grands

📌 And Sandals St Vincent will be on the agenda in May for another lucky couple 👏👏

📌And, now Finalizing one E P I C Italian adventure for one of my favorite families

Not to mention, getting some folks ready to head out on their Hawaiian Cruises,spring break in London and Paris for 2 couples , Rome and Florence for another couple and a girls trip to Hawaii!

They don’t call it W A V E season for nothing 🌊😬

Five years ago when I started this business, if you would have told me this, I would have laughed in your face.

In fact, the month after I stopped wrestling with God and with my insecurities and decided to announce to the whole Facebook world what I was doing, the whole world shut down.

So, I remember asking God why he was letting me make a complete fool of myself.

I mean my biggest idol is the approval of others ( working on that one in Wednesday night Bible study), so I really just wanted to crawl under a rock.

Well, God has sure showed me that it’s not about me or my circumstances. And, goodness gracious, I am an insecure, introvert, and homebody who doesn’t really like to fly.

I mean, I’m not anything special But, with God’s help, He has used my gifts and talents to help many couples and families see places and get to do things they never thought possible.

Little did I know that my background in accounting and teaching was preparing me for this very point in my life.

And, I am so very grateful to all of you who have used me and referred me to your friends and family.

And I am also grateful for those of you who don’t really need my help, but find what you want and book through me anyway because you want to support your local small business.

Cheers to 2024! And, if it’s Gods will, I hope to accomplish some pretty big goals in 2025. Stay tuned!

A few things to consider before contacting me. A little straight talk sprinkled with lots of 💕

👉 I work solely on commission. PLEASE don’t let me go throgh ALL the work of looking for the best options and prices for you when you KNOW that you will not be able to make a deposit quickly. If you need to know deposit options, then let’s talk about those first.

YOU don’t want to work for free and neither do I 🤷‍♀️ Please don’t make me change my business plan.

👉My turnaround time is not usually immediate. Its WAVE season and I have a list of people ready to book. Just because you contact me does not move you to the front of the line. Not to mention, I have current clients who have already booked who depend on me and repeat clients who will always come first. And, remember if you get out of line, just like school, sometimes you have to back to the end 😬

👉 Know what you can spend. I will be able to tell you if it’s possible up front without even looking. I have found that people who say “ I don’t have a budget” really do 🤔

👉 And, PLEASE if you are just price shopping let me know that up front. I DO NOT COMPETE with other agents or online booking engines. I work hard to make sure you get the best price/value/perks, and most of the time the prices I see are the prices you see. And, you can rest assured I keep a watchful eye out if something’s changes for your benefit. Thinking I can beat what you see online is not a reason to contact me. I’m not a miracle worker 🤣

Most importantly, when you do book with me, you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

In fact, I just had a fellow colleague say “ you do all that for your clients for free?” And, yes, yes I do. I’m not your typical travel agent.

I love my job. And, I love the relationships I build with people I’m working with.

Anybody else get stressed out on vacation? Do you worry about your littles wandering off down the beach? Are your bigs complaining how “bored” they are after only a few hours? Are you tired of cooking and cleaning up after them in your condo? Is your wallet rubbing blisters on your hands from pulling it out so much? A few months ago we spent a few days at #BeachesOchoRios. This was hands down one of the best vacations we have ever taken. We didn’t have to worry about our littles wandering down a crowded beach. This resort is in a cove it never felt crowded. No one ever complained of boredom because we were all ( even the grown ups) going from the beach the awesome waterpark constantly! The staff at the resort made our kids feel like family and made sure there was never a dull moment. From gourmet dinners, pizza, burgers, ice cream, cocktails, mocktails, steak, French, to Italian you definitely won’t go hungry here and you won’t have to cook or clean up! And, the best thing is we never had to pull out our wallet. Am I spending my kids inheritance? 🤔 Maybe🤣 Why wait until I can’t see them enjoy it? But, I also know how to stack some great promos and use airline points 👏👏👏 for my benefit and I can help you do the same! Think it’s more expensive than your annual trip to the beach in the summer? Maybe 🤔 But, Keep up with your receipts this time and I bet you will be surprised🤷‍♀️ And, right now is the time to get it on the books! This is My Story......

When we vacation, we like to go somewhere “where nobody knows our name” and reconnect with each other. We are empty-nesters, but our lives, like yours, are very busy. So every once in a while we need to just get away from the rest of the world and focus on each other. Our very wise preacher always says, “God first, spouse second, kids third, etc.....” We consider our trips an investment in our marriage.

We never really traveled anywhere other than the traditional “beach” vacation to the Gulf of Mexico a couple of times a year where we would always run into people from back home. When our son graduated from high school We “bribed” him into going on a family trip to St. Thomas, USVI instead of the traditional senior trip. It opened up a whole new world for us!

Since then, we have stayed on St.Thomas (3 times), St. Lucia, Grenada, Grand Cayman,Isla Mujeres (2 times- a little island off of Cancun), and Bonaire (3 times). We have cruised from San Juan to the Southern Caribbean Islands of St. Croix, Barbados, St. Marteen, and Grenada to see which one was our favorite. We have cruised Jamaica, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman.

Over the last few months, I have been praying for God to show me something new at this stage in my life that will bring joy not only to me, but joy to others as well.
