Ever wonder what we do with all those yoga props between retreat seasons? Use them for awesome softplay when the monsoon rains are trapping Molly indoors!
The art of jump-throughs, with Ellen Johannasen
Join our retreat with Ellen Johannesen in September! Why? Because she's one of the few people who can teach THIS:
Ashtanga teacher Ellen Johannesen shares hacks for her flawless jump backs and jump throughs.
Tomorrow is our arm balancing workshop with Mark Robberds. So today, Mark offered his training for free to some local residents: they turned out to be amazingly quick learners... 🤣🐒
Diddy Drop-backs
As I spend winter in Cambodia, I really miss my yoga community in Kathmandu. Fortunately, my most dedicated student followed me here so we could continue our lessons together...
Another beautiful week in the monastery. I feel so grateful to be able to immerse Molly into this environment (even if she's not putting it all together quite right yet... 😂) *Needs sound*
Just arrived at Chitwan for our retreat - oh this gorgeous air!!
A little peak at the setting for our Four-Day Yoga Retreat in Chitwan this March (1-4 March 2018)... a real immersion into the sights, sounds and feel of the beautiful forests of Nepal’s lowlands.

A month to transform your life - yoga teacher training in Nepal
Less than three months to THIS! Join Doron Hanoch to learn to share yoga with excellence, authenticity and joy!
Incredible scenes at Boudhanath yesterday at the consecration of the newly rebuilt stupa. It was emotional, thinking of the many hands that put this treasure back together and the love and joy being shared as people saw their spiritual home returned to its full glory. Grateful for being able to share this story of reconstruction and reconnection...

Yoga teacher training in Nepal, September 2016
As our September TTC grads start to find their wings as teachers, we're putting the finishing touches to our plans for Doron Yoga's next 200 hour yoga teacher training here in Nepal, 21 Aug - 15 Sep 2017. Join us, and be part of this...
Four days of this, and I'm ready for real life again...
Self practice during yoga teacher training in Nepal
As they prepare for the exams next week, the students find quiet in self-practice this morning - supported by the chants of the monks in the temple below, brought inward by the mists rolling over the mountains, and inspired by our teacher Doron Yoga. But much as their dedication and growth feeds my soul, it's moments like the mahoosive smile from Colleen (24 seconds) which makes this course such a joy.
Doron Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal
Meet Doron Hanoch! He's made a one-minute video to introduce the yoga teacher training this September, explaining what he's hoping to share with you. Grab, savour and dance with this unique opportunity to study with Doron in the incredible incubator of practice that is our partner monastery in Nepal.
Surrounded by love
The moment our TTC student Kat realized that even though she’s 3,000km from her husband on their first wedding anniversary, she is surrounded by love wherever she is. Thank you Josh for lending Kat to us this month: her many future students will deeply benefit from her wonderful teaching.
The art of Jumping Through & Jumping Back, with Ellen Johannesen
The grace of jumping back and jumping through transforms an Ashtanga or Vinyasa practice into a moving meditation. For most of us though, it's well... not quite so graceful :-). Here, the extraordinary Ellen Johannesen offers tips to bring some lightness and technique to your transitions. Learn from Ellen in person this November at our "Ashtanga Practice & The Dharma" retreat in Nepal. Thank you so much for sharing with us Ellen, and to Tim Stewart for producing this Mahalaya Yoga Seeds video. https://www.mahalaya-nepal.com/programs/ashtanga-intensive-yoga-retreat-in-nepal/
