Did you know.....???👉 I am a big advocate for self-care; taking care of yourself in all areas of life - mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Why do you think I spend so much time at the beach?! 🌊✌️

Also, I homeschool my kiddos. 📚

For the month of July, I am combining all of the things I enjoy (travel, teaching, self-love) and hoping YOU can help!

The kids and I are "traveling" to each of the 50 states. As we learn about each state, we would love to hear from those who live in states we have never been to or are not familiar with. In return, I want to spoil those who contribute with a little pampering package. 💗

✨️Save this post for your next trip to Disney World

Peoplemover 💺 Put up your feet and relax as you get a narrated behind the scenes tour and aerial view of Tomorrowland and its attractions.

🪄 Mickey's Philharmagic - This 12-minute show with 3D effects is where Disney magic meets Disney music and features Donald Duck.

🦜 Enchanted Tiki Room - Sing along with exotic birds, flowers, and tiki statues in this theatre in the round show showcasing the South Pacific in Disney's Adventureland.

Tom Sawyer Island - Board a log raft to cross the "river" and explore the island. The dirt roads, secret caves, creaky bridges, and frontier fort are so fun! A great place to eat lunch or enjoy a snack.

Swiss Family Treehouse 🏡 The view from the top is breathtaking 💗 Climb the 116 stairs that wind around and through the treehouse showcasing the "home" the Swiss Family Robinson built after being shipwrecked. The open-air rooms are filled with items salvaged from the wreck in the fictional Disney 1960 classic.

🏰 The Hub Grass - Grab a snack, a mint lemonade, and just sit. Located near Casey's Corner and just beyond the central circle in Magic Kingdom, the hub grass is a great place to take in all the sights and sounds around you while also enjoying a break from the Disney fast pace.

》Imagination Pavilion - After you Journey into Imagination with Figment - definitely take the time to visit the rest of the imagination pavilion.
▪︎ 𝕀𝕞𝕒𝕘𝕖 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕜𝕤 has a few fun hands-on experiments.
▪︎ The Disney/Pixar Short film festival shows three great shorts from Disney and Pixar in 3D/4D inside the Magic Eye Theatre. °○° The theatre lobby has a Mickey Mouse Meet and Greet.
▪︎ Just outside of the theatre are the jumping fountains. ⛲️ Don’t skip this whimsical water feature.

》The 𝚂𝚎𝚊𝚜 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚘𝚗 located in Future World of Epcot educates guests about aquatic life and environments.
▪︎ Turtle Talk with Crush is a fun show featuring characters from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory.
▪︎ The Coral Reef Aquarium is one of the largest man-made ocean environments on the planet, with over 4,000 sea creatures to explore.
▪︎ Don’t forget to take a walk through Bruce’s Shark World – a great photo op awaits here. Then grab merchandise inside the Sea Base gift shop.

It is a 10-minute film that tells the story of planet Earth using wind, scent, and water effects. Not to mention it’s a great way to enjoy a little air-conditioning 😉

》𝕃𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕎𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕃𝕒𝕟𝕕 - A 15-minute boat ride that journeys through the forces that shaped the land around us and through the "living labratory" - a greenhouse of fruits and vegetables grown in innovative ways.
💡Pro Tip: This is a beautiful ride to enjoy during the holidays at night.

ＷｏｒｌｄＳｈｏｗｃａｓｅ - Themed pavilions representing eleven (11) countries with specific architecture, landscaping, attractions, shopping, dining, and more inside each one. While it would be easy to bypass the pavilions – and opt to only eat and drink around the World - I definitely recommend spending time in each country and exploring every one.

• Sit down, relax and take in a show in the ᴍɪᴄᴋᴇʏ’ꜱ ꜱʜᴏʀᴛꜱ ᴛʜᴇᴀᴛʀᴇ; where the seats are designed to look like Mickey’s classic shorts. The theatre features the original short “Vacation Fun.” Take advantage of the fun photo op locations after the show ends.

• ᴍᴜᴘᴘᴇᴛꜱ ᴠɪꜱɪᴏɴ 3-ᴅ - Beat the heat and have a belly laugh with this wacky 13 minute 3-D show featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and more.

• Walt Disney Presents - a walkthrough attraction that is a tribute to Walt Disney’s life and work. Enjoy a short (and somewhat emotional 😉) documentary as well as Disney artifacts that bring the man and his vision to life.

💡Pro Tip: Character Meet and Greets and promotions for upcoming Disney films are often found here.

• Galaxy’s Edge - While you “live in the Star Wars Universe" taking in all of the rides, you will also find yourself wandering to a place far away - the planet of Batuu - where you can visit the street market, shop the food stalls and find characters hiding out and making deals. Don’t forget to grab a Blue milk and keep an eye out for familiar faces - Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and Rey!

ₛₗₒw Dₒwₙ in Disney's Animal Kingdom 🦒

✋️ Save this post for your next trip to WDW

• 𝔾𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕒 𝔽𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕤 - This exploration trail is a self guided trek through a tropical forest where you can spot gorillas, hippos, zebras, and more. It is located in Africa at the Safari exit.

• Just past Kali River Rapids, you’ll find the 𝕄𝕒𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕛𝕒𝕙 𝕁𝕦𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖 𝕋𝕣𝕖𝕜. The art and the architecture at the beginning of the trail is just as enjoyable as the walk through the magnificent old Royal Forest. Find lizards and bats, tigers, deer, and other wildlife. Don’t forget to visit the bird sanctuary.

• Jump aboard the wildlife express train to ℝ𝕒𝕗𝕚𝕜𝕚’𝕤 ℙ𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕥 𝕎𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙. This research and education land features interactive activities and up-close animal experiences inside The Conservation Station * Affection Section * Animation Experience (a 20-30 minute drawing class with a disney artist)

• Located in the center of Disney’s Animal Kingdom are the 𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕔𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪 𝕀𝕤𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕚𝕝𝕤. These are beautiful, rambling trails winding around the Tree of LIfe that offer gorgeous views of the park. You’ll find a number of creatures and their habitats, waterfalls, and caves to explore. Spend as little or as much time as you like here!

💡Pro Tip: This is a great place to watch the character cavalcade boats pass by.

Here's what you need...in your beach bag 🏖

Grab a wagon, toss in these essentials, and follow my tips for a successful beach visit 》》》

• Freeze a few water bottles the night before to keep cold snacks cold. Drink the water as it thaws. Juice pouches also make great "ice packs turned into drinks."

• Sandwiches, meat/cheese/crackers, fresh fruit, chips in a can, applesauce pouches make great snacks.

• Use the baby powder to easily wipe the sand off hands, feet, and legs before heading home.

• A fitted sheet makes a great picnic blanket. Use the cooler and bag to hold the corners up.

💡Pro Tip: Bring ziploc bags or reusable grocery totes for shells and treasure you find beachcombing.
》》》Ziplocs are also great for waterproofing phones, car keys, wallets, etc. inside the beach bag.
