KCYC is a FREE to join Yacht Club designed to welcome and inform visitors who enjoy boating and yachting on the Nature Island of Koh Chang. KCYC is created to also assist you in other island activities including: a) how to get here, b) where to stay on land, c) what fishing and yacht options you have available
in what areas and d) allow businesses to promote and offer discounts! Join our yachting community and enjoy our unique Islands from the sea. We are a 6+ hour vehicle drive south of Bangkok and 4+ hours from Pattaya. Escape the madness of City Life and relax on a beautiful yacht in the National Park of Koh Chang, Enjoy wonderful land accommodations at night and dive/snorkel on Koh Rang during the day, Speed down to Koh Mak for a lovely meal on the beach, and Snorkel underwater animal parks and hike to amazing waterfalls on Koh Kood. Fall in love with the endless natural beauty found only on Koh Chang; with 7 waterfalls, 6 marinas and 6,000 of the nicest people on the planet. With two more waterfalls on Koh Kood, and endless fish and coral at Koh Rang, the underwater national park. So "let's go sailing"! Bonus points if you share with your friends. Ahoy KCYC members:
Did you know you can charter (rent) a sailing yacht from two companies based in the SE corner of the island? If qualified, you can take a yacht out by yourself; if not, hire a local Captain to teach you about the area and how to improve your seamanship.
This year is unusual in that both companies normally move their fleets to Koh Samui in May, (returning in November), but not this year! Because of this, they are currently offering discounts on several of their yachts, some equal to low season rates, up to a 30% discount!
We are here to help you determine which yacht, itinerary and travel plans are best for you, for FREE. Take advantage of our experience and connections to assure a smooth voyage through the Koh Chang Archipelago.
