The calm before the storm.
First time seeing the lake this beautiful tourquise color! We were able to cover at least half a mile of shoreline. While it looked foggy and cold, the humidity was perfect along with a slight ray of sunshine for warmth.
On the way back, we scoured the beach for some driftwood to create artwork that we will be adding to the home. The wind starting picking up as we were making our way back to the car, glad we made it back to the car just in time before the rain came down.
I think this was the most peaceful I've felt at the beach. No bodies, no hot sun beating down. Just the sand, water, sky and the sound of calmness as the waves crashed.
