2025 is here, and Europe is calling! This year’s travel destinations are all about new perspectives and unforgettable experiences. Here’s a few places I’m seeing trend with my clients:

🇸🇮 Slovenia
If Slovenia isn’t on your radar yet, it’s time to change that. Think fairytale views of Lake Bled, the charm of the capital city Ljubljana, and great hiking trails. The joint city of Gorizia and Nova Gorcia (half in Slovenia, half just across the Italian border) was recently named the 2025 European Capital of Culture! Plus, Slovenia’s live music scene is one of Europe’s best-kept secrets— my fellow Eurovision fans know what I mean!

❄️ Cold Weather Escapes
Snowy adventures are having their moment! Iceland’s still a classic of course, but I’ve recently booked Finland and Norway for my clients seeking more authentic experiences. Greenland - who opened their first international airport late last year - is becoming a new frontier for adventurous explorers. Travel to Northern Europe in September or later, and you might catch the most epic Northern Lights displays of the decade!

🇮🇹 Sicily
Thanks to its White Lotus spotlight, Sicily is hotter than ever. Gorgeous beaches, vibrant markets, and one of the best food cultures in all of Italy—what’s not to love? I just booked a laid-back couple on a leisurely, self-driving tour around the island, and I love that they made Sicily the star of their trip rather than just a side stop.

This has been the most incredible week!

The epic vastness of Alaska and the wildlife has been the highlight for me - seeing whales right by our boat, more sea otters than we could count, and so many birds! (apologies to the couple in the cabin next to ours for my screaming TERN! TERN! when I finally saw an arctic tern from the balcony yesterday 😅)

Thank you again to my friends at for such an incredible week! Later today we have a day in Ketchikan, and their famous Orange Party that I’ve heard so much about! 🧡🍊🧡🍊

This past November I made fourth visit to Florence, but honestly it was my first time giving it a real chance instead of just considering it a “backup Rome”.

We stayed in a beautiful boutique hotel that dates from the 1300s…part of the hotel’s garden wall actually formed the original defensive walls of the city of Figline Valdarno!

I also re-visited the 600++ year old perfume and cosmetic store at Santa Maria Novella…they have a cool art installation in the back of the shop that projects flowers on the walls and the scent in the room changes as the art changes. Very neat! What’s not very neat? Me restocking a year’s worth of their amazing rose water face tonic when I had no room left in my luggage 😅

Earlier in the week we did a lovely wine tasting near San Gimignano and I met the most important guests of the trip — Italian peacocks!

When was the last time you instantly fell in love with a place?

For me, it was Valencia, Spain back in April.

Valencia is often overlooked in favor of places like Barcelona and Madrid, but for me it was love at first sight!

I love how you can go from drinking local wine surrounded by the original 12th century walls of the city, to walking around the super futuristic City of Arts and Sciences in a 10 minute cab ride.

Valencia even has its own “mini Sistine chapel” - a breathtakingingly fresco’d Gothic church that’s free to visit

The fact that Valencia happens to be the city where I fell in love with Spanish vermouth has noooothing to do with my instant amor 😅

I’m a month late but happy 2024 y’all! I’m thrilled to share some awesome news and BIG updates about Flyway Travel! 💋

Last year I was honored to be named Travel Planners International’s 2023 “Advisor on the Rise”! This is a handpicked award for the agent who has shown the most outstanding growth this year! Out of 5,000++ agents it was meee! 🥂 huge thank you to everyone at TPI for this incredible honor!

This award has marked me as “one to watch” in the industry and already led to some amazing new partnerships and opportunities that I can’t wait to share with you later this year! (A couple hints though… 🐻🧊🌲 / 🌴🤿💕)
