We happened across ReRun Resale & Consignment - McKinney TX will doing some shopping and OH MY.. Sports Cards, Furniture, Decor, Antiques LITERALLY everything.. The place is HUGE. We grabbed some items that caught our eyes and we will FOR SURE be stopping by regularly. Go check them out if you are nearby!
Had the chance to go and check out one of Wylie’s newest drive thru’s. Having had Bojangles before I was happy to see one local.. As expected, it was the Bojangles I had remembered! The treat was the peach cobbler, if you’ve followed us for any amount of time you may know we will buy peach cobbler if it is on the menu 🤣
Brand New Breakfast / Brunch / Lunch spot just opened in Wylie Texas. We went and checked out Starwood Cafe - Wylie They just opened this location on the East side of Wylie. The staff were wonderful, service was quick and the food was DELICIOUS. We had the chicken and waffles (chicked flavor was on point) also ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was tasty! We also were able to sample the beignets and that is a FOR SURE addition if you go! Thanks for the hospitality! We will be back soon!
Has anyone else been to check out GOATS Arena Sports Bar in Fairview yet? This place is massive. Literal wall to wall screens, every type of seating possible, dance floor?! YEP! We sampled the food AND.. SOLID! They have an incredible selection od drafts and spirits to choose from. This will be a great spot to cheer on the World Champion Rangers from!

Fairview Farmers - Fairview Texas
Most of y'all know when you say home cookin' we will come running. This was the case for Fairview Farmers we heard about this place from a few folks and had to get over for ourselves. They have a full dessert and coffee bar and incredible outdoor seating space before you even take a bite. I went with the avocado toast and had to have some of the beignets.. INCREDIBLE and the plates are TEXAS sized! There are so many things I want to go back and try, it won't be long! Go check them out if you are in or around Fairview!
Dough Gourmet Pizza Wylie!
Brand new place opened up in Wylie Texas and when we hear PIZZA.. We are on the way! We checked out Dough Gourmet Pizza Wylie - Chef's Kiss! Great dine in location and super fast to go option. The pizza was crispy and had GREAT flavor.. The cheese sticks were a BIG hit.. They are not JUST pizza either, the menu will have us back there very soon to try some more! Sometimes time is not on our side to get that workout in, HOTWORX is a new concept that just opened a new location in Wylie. It is an infared fitness studio.. Hot Worx allows you to get a workout in and burn those calories in a fraction of the time. They have a free weight and machine weight area and then the different infared sauna studios. Very cool and worth checking them out! Welcome to Wylie!
Popped in to see what all the buzz was at Hawaiian Bros Island Grill in Rowlett! Opted for something Spicy! You are looking at the KILAUEA CHICKEN! It was TASTY! The minute I saw pineapple dole whip for dessert, I HAD TO.. Perfect pairing for the full experience. Dining area was super clean, staff was friendly and the food was GREAT!
Sweet Tooth Engaged! WOW! If you have never tried anything from Say It With Sugar Cake Shop in Wylie... You are missing out! The FAMOUS sugar cookies are always fresh and ready to eat, they have cupcakes, macaroons, and LOOK at those custom cakes.. They have featured on TV cooking shows multiple times and we can tell why. Pop in and say hi and grab some treats, you won't be disappointed!
While in Rowlett we were looking for some healthy fast food! We stopped in Kwench Juice Cafe! We had never been in and they were awesome telling us the different options and benefits of their menu. We decided on a acia bowl and a peanut butter protein smoothie. BOTH WERE DELICIOUS! We will for sure be stopping in again! If you have not checked them out go show them some love!
WHAT A GEM! Shoemaker & Hardt Coffee and Country Store located in Historic Downtown Wylie HAS IT ALL! First off the coffee is TOP of the line! Next, they have EVERYTHING.. Trinkets to decor, mancave gifts, the vintage selection is INSANE. One of their newest editions is the ice cream and it's DELICIOUS! We love small towns and we love small business, this one is fantastic!
In the day and age of EXPERIENCES.. this place should be on your list of TO DO!
Rocky Creek Candle Company in Fairview is AWESOME. It is a FULL hands on fun time. Pick your container, pick your fragrance and MAKE YOUR OWN CANDLE! How cool is that, think Painting with a Twist WITH CANDLES! This family owned business is for sure one that should be on a date night or team building trip! Thank you guys for showing us around!
Texas State Fair was a blast as usual! Ate all of the food, checked out the cars, fed animals and walked for days! Oh and lost money on the midway! The day was complete!
