As a child, I was taught to pick up every pecan I saw. As an adult picking up pecans, all I can think of is, "Am I getting them before the squirrels do? Or are they 🐿🐿 watching from a branch laughing because I was dumb enough to pick up pecans they know are no good." 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. The joys of harvesting! Lol! 😁

Happy New Year from downtown Samson, Alabama! Quite a crowd turned out to watch our first New Year's Eve snuff can drop. Old and young alike gathered round to take photos. A kid visiting from the big city was surprised to see more than 35 people! Lol! One lady was overheard to say this was her first midnight New Year's Eve kiss in 10 years!
