If you drive down highway 97, you will see our new banner! Shout out to my daddy, Roy Hindes for helping me wire it to the fence. He always has wire on him!

It’s been 3 years since March 2020 (Covid) when our long term renter and friend moved out of our rental and I said I wanted to make our country home a furnished Short Term Rental/Airbnb/VRBO and put Hindes on the map. My Dad supported me but thought I was crazy and thought there was no way people would pay to come stay in rural Hindes, TX! Although it may be a low demand area compared to typical vacation destinations (like Concan/Frio River and other Texas areas), there’s still a need. Oftentimes, people want their privacy and would rather stay in a home because they don’t want to stay in hotels.

We’ve had guests come from all over the United States (even New York) for different reasons: working in the area, visiting family nearby, hunting turkeys/doves/deer/duck in the area, fishing at Choke Canyon, shooting competitions and training at “The Ranch” shooting facility in Dilley, evacuating their coast home for because of a hurricane, going to track meet at nearby area track meet and lots more reasons.
