Disney has in the past few days tightened up the Genie+ and Lightning Lane system to prevent one of the biggest loopholes that existed which allowed one person to have two rolling (and sometimes 3) redemption windows at the same time. You are supposed to only have one at a time.

This loophole is now toast and this is a good thing as it will create a bit more open slots on the system, not that you are going to notice in crazy weeks like this one we are presently in.

FastPass+ had many loopholes as well when it first came out and most of those were closed. Disney has more of an incentive to close them with Genie+ as that is a paid service.

My feeling is the real benefits of Genie+ will not be seen until the parks are at a more reasonable attendance and capacity level whenever that magical and mythical time, if ever, occurs.
