DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN SAN JOSÉ AND RECEPTION AT THE AIRPORT
Upon arrival in San José, capital of Costa Rica, a Marbella Tours representative with a PriceTravel sign will be waiting for you at the terminal of Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) to take you to the hotel.

DAY 2 TOUR IN SAN JOSÉ – SHOPPING
You will explore the city of San José and its main attractions. The first stop is at the restaurant where you will have lunch. When you finish, you will head to the canton of Moravia, where you can walk through its streets and enter any of its handicraft shops. You will find chairs, rocking chairs, leather bags, sculptures, paintings, and the typical hand painted carts. Later, you will continue to the western area of the capital and go across downtown San José. Admire La Sabana Metropolitan Park, a sports, cultural, and recreational area spanning over 70 hectares (173 acres), that houses the
National Stadium of Costa Rica opened in 2011. You will also
see the Costa Rican Art Museum MAC, displaying works by
Costa Rican and foreign artists; the Comptroller General of
the Republic; and the Rohrmoser residential area, one of the most exclusive
of the city. During the tour, you will pass by the Apostolic Nunciature and the
house of Óscar Arias Sánchez, the former President of Costa Rica and the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987. You will continue to the Art Gallery and Jewelry Factory, where you will make a stop to learn more about the pre-Hispanic cultures of Costa Rica. Here you can buy gold pieces and gemstones, and enjoy a tasting of the typical national liquor, coffee, and soft drinks. Finally, the transportation will take you to your hotel.

DAY 3 IRAZÚ VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK – BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS – OROSI VALLEY
Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to admire natural beauties of Costa Rica. At Irazú Volcano National Park, you will marvel at the highest active volcano of Costa Rica, with a height of more than 3,000 meters (9,842 ft) above sea level. Admire incredible views of the volcano and observe root crops and farming villages. Your next stop is at the city of Cartago, east of San José. Enter the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels and let yourself be captivated
by its Byzantine-style construction. Its interior contains multiple arches,
domes, and columns with a stunning interior design. The tour continues towards Orosi Valley, which boasts a mixed landscape full of coffee plantations and clear rivers.
Before you return to the hotel, you will savor a typical lunch in one of the best Creole restaurants of the region.

DAY 4 FREE DAY
After breakfast, you will spend a free day in San José. Discover the cultural offer of
the city. You can visit the National Museum of Costa Rica or the National Theater, which occupies a Neoclassical-style building dating back to the 19th century. You will be free to stroll along the city by your own or stay at the hotel to rest.

DAY 5 TOUR TO JACÓ BEACH WITH CROCODILE WATCHING
AT THE TÁRCOLES RIVER
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and board the transportation to the paradise
Jacó Beach. After a journey of about one hour and a half through the mountains, and a bridge where you can see the crocodiles of the Tárcoles River, you will reach the Balcón del Mar hotel, where you can make use of the recreational facilities that include two outdoor pools, a children’s pool, and sun loungers. You can have lunch
at the hotel’s restaurant, and then you will have time to relax by the sea and get the perfect tan, or take a walk through the shopping area of this small town. At the end of the day, you will go back to your hotel in
