What’s new in travel this week?

This week has seen the launch of some exciting new products in the travel industry.

1. Ikos Porto Petro which is opening in June 2023 went on sale this week. This is the seventh addition to the popular hotel chain synonymous with luxury all-inclusive family hotels in Greece and now Spain. This is their second property in Spain and it is located in sunny island of Mallorca with 319 luxury suites and 5 a la carte restaurants.

2. Virgin Atlantic have launched two new routes a seasonal route to the Maldives and a year-round route to Turks & Caicos - providing even more direct options from London to some of the world's most luxury resorts and stunning beaches. Flights will be on sale in the coming weeks and months, with the first flights departing in late 2023.

3. Atlantis The Royal, Dubai is now taking bookings ahead of its launch in 2023. A sister property to the already famous Atlantis hotel, located on The Palm this new ultra-luxurious hotel features 17 restaurants, including eight from celebrity chefs such a Heston Blumenthal, Nobu Matushisa and Costas Spiliadis. The hotel boasts 90 pools, Sky Pool Villas and a Signature Penthouse, shaped like a wave the hotel is a multi-level luxury hotel.

Want to know where to stay in Dubai? Read on for more.

With so much choice, it's hard to narrow it but one of the key decisions to make is which location to stay in. The two most popular tourist hotspots in Dubai are:

- Jumeriah Beach
- The Palm

Jumeirah Beach is on the mainland so it is closer to the downtown area. It is much easier (and cheaper) to get out and about to the malls, theme parks and souks from this location. There are some fantastic luxurious hotels located in this destination and my top 4 favourites are (pictures 2 - 5 in order as below):

If you hadn’t guessed by now, I love to travel!!!

Back in 2015, I departed on what was to be a solo 16 month trip around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, but the place that charmed me the most was here…the islands of Fiji!

The friendliest people you will ever meet, we were always greeted with the biggest smiles wherever we went, entertained by the best fire dancers, walked in the softest sand and gazed at the most beautiful sunsets - it is just all round a magical place and one I’d love to return to one day!

It all starts with a chat about your trip, where you want to go, how many of you, what you want to do/see etc

I’ll go away and build your perfect itinerary using my years of expertise and super efficient research skills. I’ll always advise how long it will take to get back to you, usually within 48 hours (subject to complexity and location)

❓Will it be more expensive?
I have access to a huge range of negotiated rates through the buying power which DialAFlight have, so quite often it will be cheaper but it will always be competitive. I always look for the best value.

❓Is my money protected?
Absolutely, we are members of ABTA, ATOL and also have a Client Trust Account.
