Marken is a small half island only 2 5 km from Volendam with the ferry. Situated on the otter side... They are both really nice villages each with a lot of own traditions.

Yes, some of the tulips are already topped, but i can tell you : with all the hard work of the gardeners ( also the last 2 weeks !) Keukenhof is still beautiful today !

The Organ is traditional Dutch with its typical music. You can still hear it sometimes at Dam Square in weekends.. In Keukenhof is one that plays all te time, also modern songs. The songs are like books and the paper is pulled through the organ . With its little holes the music is created. See the proces in my video

Years ago the weather was much better for our most special day of the year ; Kings Day !!
Everybody has a day off to celebrate our Kings Birthday with flea-market and music and lots of fun
Haarlem is ot as busy as in Amsterdam luckaly. They donn't do concerts on Museumsquare any more...I wondrer why hahaha.

Vandaag naar de Titanic tentoonstelling " The Artifact Exposition" geweest in Brussel met Dennis. Net als 11 jaar geleden toen we elkaar ontmoetten in Amsterdam bij dezelfde expositie ! . Ik was met Jonna en hij met n vriendin. Wat hebben we al gelachen toen!
Al was het thema niet om te lachen natuurlijk...

Saturday the 20th of April the 77th flower parade will drive from the seaside town of Noordwijk (9am) to the city of Haarlem (arrival app. 8 pm). Expect a busy, very busy day. A lot of people watch the parade close to Keukenhof. But there are less crowed places to see the parade driving by. 20th of January this year is The National Tulip Day in Netherlands. Farmers come to Amsterdam Dam Square with more than 200, 000 tulips. In afternoon visitors can pick a bundle of colorful tulips for free ... 🌷🌷🌷

The moment for our dutch cows whenbthe doorrs open to go outside again is very special. After a long winter in the barn has come a funny spectacle. . People are even invited to come and seev his moment every year of the happy vows. We call this " The Dancing Voows '! "

The Flower Parade last April 22 nd is the busiest day of the year for the flowerbulb area! People come from all countries: more than a miljon visitors normally all day long ftom Noordwijk to Haarlem ( 42 km). In the evening they park at Haarlem Centre. It was beautiful.
