Travel is not just about vacation or holiday. Its about exposing your child may in the most simple or difficult spaces that would inspire them.
So the other day, I was heading for my meeting. It wasn't planned to carry my daughter along but l seemed to have a plan of where to leave her.
So as we got to the building , she was like, "Mum, this is where you normally come?" She was getting fascinated with the drive way to the parking and all. After the meeting, she got some time to interact with the fellow colleagues and have the "air " of what it feels to be the boss.
These days, she bades me good bye without a tear when l tell her that am going for my meeting.
So let's be intentional in travel and exposing our children to meaningful experiences!

At Kidzania Cairo ! The children having interactive activity . Being exposed to the various careers they wish to pursue!

I attended the swimming gala the other day at my daughter’s school. She is afraid of swimming and l took the opportunity to encourage her . I too am not a great swimmer but am learning to always show up ! I have what it takes . So for you this week , please show up!! #kidsactivities #travelwithkids #mumssupportingmums

Last week , I attended a swimming gala in my daughter‘s school . The Programme had a slot for parents swimming so l had prepared myself to participate .But why participate ? 1. Encouragement I must mention that my daughter fears swimming 😥. Whenever it is the swimming day , she has all form of anxiety and we keep giving a pep talk and even promise to bring her lollipop if she swims . So l planned to swim to encourage her and see it can be done . 2. Courage I am equally not a great swimmer . But with entrepreneurship , I have learnt I need to always be courageous even when my knees are almost to give in . It’s not a journey for the faint hearted . When the time came for the parents turn to swim , there was hardly any parent except for the two swimming coaches who gave me company. I even didn’t know they were with me in the water until l finished🤓 My key take aways 1. Show up 2. Stick to your lane 3. Have fun as you do it ! I hope you show up too! # kidsactivities # travelwithkids
