This Epcot festival is my absolute favorite, and has so much to offer! Between musical performances from Broadway actors, chalk drawings where you can literally jump into the picture, amazing photo ops, taking part in a fun and engaging painting experience where you help create a mural, and the fabulous food- you will not run out of things to do!

✨Here are 5 things you may not know about my life as a travel agent:

1️⃣ I don’t travel for free! While it’s possible I’ll have the ability to earn travel discounts throughout my career (so that I have the ability to attend more research trips to get insider info for my clients), I pay for my personal trips out of pocket!

2️⃣ I’m paid via commission by the companies / vendors I book vacations through for my clients. And though I work SO incredibly hard with / for my clients prior to their travels, I’m not compensated until they get home from their vacations!

3️⃣ Though I recognize I mostly post about Disney Destinations & Universal Orlando Resort, I’m registered with SO many other travel vendors as well (different cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, European vacations...). So, if you have a dream vacation destination in mind, please reach out - I’d love to chat with you!

4️⃣ It doesn’t take more time to work with a travel agent like myself. Heck, it saves you time! As a travel agent I do the research for you, put together vacation proposals, make payments on your behalf, and create vacation itineraries to make your travels as easy as possible!

5️⃣ I discover most of my clients via social media & referrals! I’m fortunate to work with family & friends on their vacations, but I work hard on social media to reach new people as well. And when people recommend my services to others it means the absolute world! 🥰

Now that the holidays have officially ushered us into the New Year, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about adventures for myself and my clients in 2025 and beyond!

I don’t know about you, but having a vacation planned always helps me through the bitterly cold winter months 🥶, especially since I live in Michigan!

I’m personally dreaming of a Cruise, a trip to Walt Disney World (obviously I have to go at least once a year!), an all-inclusive getaway, and in the long term- a trip to Paris!

Yesterday officially marked 4 years since the start of my journey as a Travel Advisor! In these past 4 years, I have been absolutely blessed to work with the most amazing colleagues, plan trips with my wonderful clients, and learn from the best vendors out there at both in-person and virtual trainings! ✨So, remember a few years ago when I talked about how there is always a possibility that plans won’t go in your favor during your vacations?✨

Well, Reid Family Redemption Tour- Take 2…

All 4 of us by the time of this post have now gotten sick in some way shape or form. Most of it is just a nasty cold, which somehow seems to feel better in the humidity at times! We have had to cut short park days, party days, experiences…it’s been a wild ride.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting as much as promised! But I’ll make up for it eventually! Let’s hope that we can recover quickly and make the most of the end of our trip! 🤦🏼‍♀️

✨We have arrived!✨

It was a long day of dance yesterday for Madeline! She clocked in 7 hours at the studio yesterday dancing for Janie’s Fund! After that, we went home to put the finishing touches on our packing and headed out to the airport! We usually don’t fly at night, so that was a big adjustment for the littles who weren’t too sure that they loved flying in the dark! But it was a smooth flight!

And after that- we arrived at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort ⚾️! This was Bretton’s pick for his 10th Birthday, and when we arrived- they had a nice little surprise for us in our room! This was so fitting for him since his Baseball team won the Championship this fall! They put us in the Baseball section, and we entered right under the Detroit Tigers Pennant! 💙

Today, we are heading to Epcot! Follow along for more fun later! 😉
