Well, Reid Family Redemption Tour- Take 2…

All 4 of us by the time of this post have now gotten sick in some way shape or form. Most of it is just a nasty cold, which somehow seems to feel better in the humidity at times! We have had to cut short park days, party days, experiences…it’s been a wild ride.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting as much as promised! But I’ll make up for it eventually! Let’s hope that we can recover quickly and make the most of the end of our trip! 🤦🏼‍♀️

✨We have arrived!✨

It was a long day of dance yesterday for Madeline! She clocked in 7 hours at the studio yesterday dancing for Janie’s Fund! After that, we went home to put the finishing touches on our packing and headed out to the airport! We usually don’t fly at night, so that was a big adjustment for the littles who weren’t too sure that they loved flying in the dark! But it was a smooth flight!

And after that- we arrived at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort ⚾️! This was Bretton’s pick for his 10th Birthday, and when we arrived- they had a nice little surprise for us in our room! This was so fitting for him since his Baseball team won the Championship this fall! They put us in the Baseball section, and we entered right under the Detroit Tigers Pennant! 💙

Today, we are heading to Epcot! Follow along for more fun later! 😉

✨I have a 10 year old. 🤯 ✨

Today, my sweet little boy is 2 whole hands old. He’s close to taking me out in height, his feet are larger than mine, our hands are the same size, and he’s already on his way to being way smarter than I will ever be. He’s the sweetest kid with an incredible smile, he gives the best hugs, and as I’ve mentioned MANY times- is a friend to everyone he meets. I couldn’t have created a more perfect little boy if I tried!

Happy 10th Birthday to my sweet Bretton! I love you more than you will ever understand!

Why are the years going by so fast?!? 😭🫣

✨Happy 7th Birthday to our Madeline Blake!✨

Over this past year, she has grown so much, and she’s starting to look less baby-ish and full-cheeked, and more like a mini person! Her attitude has gotten as strong as her muscles- and I worry about the day she becomes a teenager! But underneath her sassy and tough exterior, she is the sweetest! She gives amazing hugs, always says I love you, is as smart as they come, and a really good friend to everyone.

I hope you have the best birthday, Mads! 🎂

✨Incoming Update!✨

In the coming weeks, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will begin piloting a new service providing expedited entry to theme park attractions called the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass! But if you are sick of being on your phone all the time- here’s the kicker- you don’t have to make return times or reservations for ANY of the rides!

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting, much like today, but with a higher price tag.

At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. The first date it will be available is October 23, 2024.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. So, if you have a park hopper ticket, you can’t hop and bypass the rides at more than one park. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

✨Ok, so it’s no secret that I’ve been extremely busy since school started back up…✨

But this picture right here is one of the reasons why! My son, Bretton, just finished his fall baseball ⚾️ season as a Champion! Last night, they won the Championship game, and I am SO PROUD of all the hard work that this team put in! These boys have grown so much this past year, and the coaches (including my wonderful husband, Eric) worked so hard to improve the team as a whole! They just “Keep Moving Forward!”

Way to go, Angels!

✨THE MOST EXPENSIVE TRAVEL MISTAKE I SEE PEOPLE MAKE 👇✨

….Is neglecting to monitor their reservations!
Many travelers book their trips and forget to check back for potential discounts.

How can you avoid this mistake?

Let me help! Just yesterday, a new promotion was released by Disney for 2025. I booked a client back in June for a trip in March of next year. Her reservation qualified for the promotion, and by applying the discount, I saved her nearly $1,450! And that wasn’t all- in total, I had 8 different groups of reservations that I was able to apply the promotion to! The consensus was that waking up and having the peace of mind that you were saving money without even knowing about it was the best way to start the day!

I keep a close eye on all my clients’ vacations to ensure they receive the best deals right up until check-in!
