✨ I am so excited, honored and humbled to have been named the winner of the AND Talent Challenges in the pageant today—automatically earning me a top 15 spot in the national finals taking place next week!

As a lifelong performer, I take a tremendous amount of pride in my craft and the greatest joy of my life is being able to share that music with others. I had so much fun arranging and performing my Queen medley for this pageant and can’t thank the incredible panel of judges enough for this recognition; Kaya Jones, Max Decker and Ariel Chobaz Mix Engineer 🎹

Yesterday would’ve been John Lennon’s 80th birthday. He truly believed that music could change the world and change lives—a mantra I live by. I cannot express how grateful and shocked I was to hear my Beauty With a Purpose project, Music With A Purpose, announced as the winner today. The arts are so often looked upon as “non-essential” or a glorified hobby—resulting in a subsequent lack of funding and support. Having my music education and expression initiatives recognized by a prestigious organization like Miss World sends the message that, YES—the arts really do matter and really do make a difference. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Miss World CEO, Julia Morley, for your support of these endeavors, as well as your exceptionally generous $2000 contribution towards the continuation of my efforts.

To all of my friends and family, thank you for your continued love and support through this process and everything I do. Congratulations to all of the finalists and preliminary winners that were recognized today. This Monday, October 12th, the top 15 contestants will participate in the Q&A Competition at 6pm EST/3pm PST. Can’t wait to see you there 💕
